My household too, is a non cheesy household. Well at least "officially". But it's been known to happen on seldom occations that Cheddar or Västerbotten cheese has found its way into my fridge. Somehow its there one morning. I call 112 immediately upon discovery, so they can come and clear it out before its too late!

I'm considering setting up some kind of bicycle based, cheese disposal service. I can just cycle round Europe giving a good home to unwanted dairy products!
@Anna-Ess7 ай бұрын
What an excellent idea! I expect you shall have to visit my household approximately three times a year. I do, however, have a slight concern about the pace of that operation... Although I wholeheartedly agree that its important to make time "to be able to just sit and do some staring", I'm a bit concerned that you will be giving a good home to an ex dairy product, a fridge furry.😉 Or worse, it'll be eaten before you arrive.😋🥴

I keep the pogies on for as long as I can. With all the zips and vents open they are just a way to keep the breeze of your fingers and as the last day of this trip proves, May is plenty capable of throwing some wet and cold at the unwary cyclist 😉

@@JethroJessop Ah right, zips and vents make sense. I bought some cheapo pogies to see if they'd fit on my drop bar winter bike, it only gets used when there is snow or ice on the ground so I didn't want vents. I do want a pair for my full-suss bike and vented ones will make sense for that.

I'm down with the crackers and cheese for sure! Top snacks. I'm generally pretty healthy when it comes to eating but on bike trips I definitely slip. @@geoffmilner yeah they are pretty good though I haven't had one for a looooong time. Trying to eat ethically is a minefield at the best of times and probably not really possible at all with snack stuff.
