Devon and Jodi are a great example of how traditional masculinity and femininity work so well together. That is such a successful formula for families, and society as a whole. Having a strong man as the leader and rock of the family, with a strong supporting wife at his side, is unbeatable. We need more of that.

Research shows kids need two parents to be raised well. That can be two men, two women, an untraditional straight couple, or a traditional couple like Jodi and Devon. There's literally no reason to assume these traditional couples work better for society than non-traditional couples. Society has been in a much worse place than it is now, with traditional couples being the *major* norm during those times. There have been world wars before.

I enjoyed this. As a fan of arm wrestling, and specifically of Devon (and by extension, Jodi, Milo, Auden and Habree) I knew some things about his life and his time as a member of the Canadian Special Forces, but I didn't know any of the specifics or some of the struggles they'd dealt with. It was also nice to see a focus on Jodi for a change - Devon typically takes up all of the oxygen in the room and it was cool to see him just hanging loose, supporting Jodi. Well done!

First off this is a great talk, it gives the vibe of sitting and talking at the table after finishing a meal. I appreciate Devon's personality and I'm glad he could bring so many eyes to what you're doing. It's a beautiful thing. Also, as an American I really wish you were right about us treating our veterans well. There's a decent amount of "thank you for your service" to our veterans we pass on the street. Apart from that, they actually get treated pretty poorly. It's tough for a lot of these people to get jobs because they gave away their functionality for our freedom, and there's little/no support for that. We need to do better over here as well, it's a process. Thank you for pushing that process in the right direction. And, unrelated but what a beautiful set! I like the look.
