Devon Larratt's desire to be #1 is his sin!

Devon Larratt pushes his body and puts his body through so much in his attempts to be number one in the world of armwrestling. His "Desire" has driven him to do so many questionable procedures and pioneer the world of armwrestling into new heights of training and techniques. I took a small dive into the possibility of what I suspected Devon's sin to be after his latest video.
Above all else, Devon desires to be number one.

His DNA is probably all mixed up. Seems like he’s willing to do whatever it takes to be the best of the best and the strongest of the strongest. I grow exhausted of these videos of people talking about how strong he is and he’s such a beast. Well, it’s because he’s pumped his body full of chemicals. Of course he’s gonna be a beast! No doubt the guy is ridiculously strong but chances are, his body will shut down if he keeps pumping himself full these stem cell injections, anabolic steroids and whatever else he is.

That is kind of what I am hitting at. He is putting all of his health on the line, and I believe he will continue to, just to be known and believe that he himself is #1 in the world.

Yeah, I think you're reading too much into this. Obviously these things are sins, of which we are all guilty to some degree but I am not really feeling the devil worship vibe that you are seeming to imply. Also, you really went through some mental gymnastics here to conflate lust with what is obviously envy.

Envy is actually different. Devon doesn't want to be Levan, Devon isn't Jealous of Levan. Devon simply wants to be #1 and it doesn't matter who is above him. He will want the position. Just like you can lust after gold or power. Devon lusts after being number 1. I am not implying devil worship wither lol, it is just another tattoo people get to represent the weight they carry for their sin. But I can the reading to much into it. I just see Devon as someone where simple doesn't fit, and it a tattoo for Devon would have a deep meaning.

@@SavageArmWrestling respectfully, I think you are quite mistaken. There is a very distinct difference between lust and passion. Whereas passion motivates individuals to accomplish extraordinary feats in pursuit of their goals, lust does not. So again you are conflating lust with envy and passion. Devon does not simply lust after his goals, he pursues them with a relentless passion and if anything envies those who are ranked above him.

@Ben-ix8vf I took thought on Devon's tendencies. Most of what Devon says is extremely deep and not easy to understand on the surface. So, I dug in, but yes, this was to build some thoughts on top of my own in the comments.
