Ermes gave Levan a really hard time in the later rounds. One way to think about it is Devon was obsessed with destroying Dennis that he dared to say it in public to obligate himself to show complete commitment. He couldn't forget the 2018 left arm disaster. Devon showed an unmatched amount of effort that, for the first time in his history, he didn't show his training. He studied every match of Dennis, trained so hard. On the other hand, Dennis was relying on his close circle for his training, and focused on certain positions that are Dadikyan specific. He ignored all the warnings that said he would face troubles with Devon's style, and the fact that he is just back after a serious injury and underestimated Devon. So it's a complete dedication from a fully engaged Devon VS a miscalculation from a post-injury Dennis. However, Dennis, after such a devastating disaster, will wake up to reality and make better adjustments in the right direction. In one year, he will be competing for the spot number 1 again. So ironically, this defeat is the best thing Dennis can actually wish!
