There would be SO many fathers who don't want that at all lol. Like, often the opposite of that. "Please don't follow in my footsteps". Mostly the consensus is for their children to have better than they had, and do do better than they did, in whatever form that takes (even if it means they earn less money, or are less career-driven, etc.). You shouldn't want your children to be clones of you, because they're not. You should want them to do what makes them happy and fulfilled in life (within reason obviously. Don't be harmful, etc.). Devon has communicated this sentiment, too. He's not pushing them to be armwrestlers at all.

I have nothing against Auden or Adam, but personally, I wasn't a fan of this impromptu 1 round thing. It seemed sort of unprofessional and awkward. Imagine the most prestigious Boxing or UFC PPV events just letting the son of one of the fighters do 1 round against some other random guy after the main card. I'm ok with something like Devon having a surprise match against Kalinichenko after the main card of some small, random event that doesn't have much significance. But KOTT and EvW are supposed to be the most prestigious, premier arm wrestling events in the world. I think doing stuff like this takes away the prestige and seriousness of the event.

It was after the event had finished. It was entertaining for most and as the view numbers here will show, it helps interest in the sport which can only be a good thing. It was not an official match that counts on KOTT records, just simply a bonus after the supermatches had ended.
