To be honest - we don't know how strong Devon's back pressure really is. His hand control usually doesn't allow his opponents to fully challenge it. But i remember Sabin Badulescu trying his backpressure against Devon's in december 2021, while they were sitting in front of each other. And Devon was in full control, not even trying very hard. Say all you want about Sabin, but he's got really good back pressure and that says a lot.

I believe if devon was to do the same lift, he would get around 90-95kg i assume. Seeing ermes struggling alot with the pronation lift makes me believe that devon may have a really strong backpressure but we just haven't seen it. ​@@MrFackoffline

To me , I don’t really mind someone winning with his hand control but as long as he has the arm power to back it up ,before I got immersed in arm wrestling the term ARM told me the arm power is very very crucial but the more I get to know the less I realise this is true and we can see the answer to that on April 20th

Backpressure in the gym with weights is different than actually applying backpressure on the table against your opponent. Devon has more applicable backpressure with hand control on the table than Ermes. But back to the weights look how much Ermes arm opens when doing his recent max pronation lift while Devon’s doesn’t open at all. Devon has excellent backpressure.
