@robosing2255 ай бұрын
@@TravisBaginashvili The funny part is, just because you said that, they would doubt "that guy" and his credentials as being literally the greatest of all time. Unfortunately the younger audience did not experience Brzenk's 23 year undefeated legacy, something no other arm wrestler in history has been able to achieve. Granted, over the years, people have gotten stronger due to steroid abuse, HGH's, etc., which makes it harder for anyone today to hold a record of that caliber. With Levan being the strongest (in arm wrestling) man on the planet atm, only time will tell until either Devon gets a rematch and takes the win, or another man like Schoolboy or someone else takes the throne. Levan is a beast, but he will not remain the strongest for long; just like Cyplenkov, a man who beat Pushkar (rip), who at the time was the world #1 super heavyweight champion, solidifying Cyplenkov as the greatest arm wrestler, eventually fell due to health concerns most likely due to PED's. I should've sent this comment to the other person. I know you probably already know all this information. haha. At least we can both appreciate the legacy of the one true g.o.a.t.

Devon is a genius in how to win pulls before elbows ever touch pads, then throughout the match. Devon has made arm wrestling entertaining for people who don't even like arm wrestling. It doesn't matter how dominant an arm wrestling champion is if nobody wants to come and see him because it's boring to watch (for most). Devon is the greatest entertaining gift to all of arm wrestling. He helps the sport grow more than any unbeatable champion can. How can you make a sport, who's matches are short and relatively uneventful, entertaining? You add a loud, boisterous personality that has massive skill in the sport, and you send him around the World. Devon Larratt is like the force of gravity pulling people to arm wrestling.

@SonGokuuu Probably because Devon being 15-20% stronger than he was when he faced Levan, including injecting stem cells into him to repair his damaged tendons and muscle cells more efficiently, he was strong enough to hold anybody back without tearing his bicep So, even though Ermes is likely close-to-equal to Levan by now, Devon's strength is strong enough to tolerate and hold Ermes' 92kg side-pressure back, and then he relied on his superior endurance to progress slowly to the pin and used the flop press against Ermes By round 3, we can see Ermes was already tired and when Devon held him back without the straps for about 20-30 seconds, Ermes likely tired out from trying to top roll him 3 times
