Gennadi can change it up in an instant. He knows his Lanes like the back of his hand. His IQ is higher than what people might credit him for. I really think he outsmarted Devon which is why he won. D vs. G was more of a psychological game.
@IHateYouTube-sr1wj2 ай бұрын
Everyone knows Genadi has one of the highest table iqs out there and is also not afraid to cheat and play dirty if the situation calls for it. That was the main selling point of this whole matchup, people were eager to see how Genadi would match wits with Devon and we got our moneys worth.
@catraaa52612 ай бұрын
Not at all. It's not as complicated as people make it seem. The whole match was: Devon being perfectly square, refs still tell him to turn into a whole mathematical square shape, Genadi on the other hand wasn't even close to square. He elbow fouled and false started as well MULTIPLE times. This wasn't a match, it was a joke. I don't blame Genadi at all, I credit him where it's due, he took what he got, he's definitely smart and strong. Refs were DEFINITELY either biased or shouldn't have ever gotten the job LOL.

It just doesn't look right. And I'm not hating on you. You have a lot of grit and determination, and you're a great armwrestler. But with that said, are you capable of competing against the top monsters without relying so heavily on that technique? Would love to see it. If not, I guess a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. It looks to me from both your match and Devon's match combined that if you are unable to press Ganadi you are going to have a hard time wining. Devon took everything from him but then had trouble finishing him. So it is either that or maybe this time you can try and tire him out in the open top roll but then you still have to be able to press him to finish him. And these Georgians seem to have the open top roll figured out so I am not sure about that option. I would be putting everything I had into stopping him in the center on go and then pressing him, but you will have to be able to finish him which looked about impossible for Devon. You both want to outlast the other guy and then pin them once they are gassed out but Ganadi also has excellent endurance so yeah I am going for the first option, to try and stop him in the center and get him into a press as fast as possible. Basically become Jerry C. for the day! lol!....This sort of training could work in both you and Corey's favor for both of your matches as Corey is going to have to be able to stop Kamil's press.....

0:31 no Mike not probably you definitely should be prioritizing the setup since your kingsmove will rely very much on your leverage through the riser. If you let Genadi start vertical against you and take your riser then it will be a rough night for you, start vertical with him and don’t worry about the referees they can’t foul you out since they need you for the paperviews. Wish you best of luck against Genadi. PS: Please practice the setup nonstop, vertical vertical vertical.

@@MonsterMichaelTodd Maybe if you’re going overboard, im not in the east vs west inside circle and management of who gets ref calls and who gets a pass on one aspect vs another. I do know Mr. Larratt in this match was allowed to do whatever tf he wanted. 54cm etf vs 51cm and yet Genadi is forced to grip low. Although Devon is a canalization rat, he makes good points. Such as when you establish height through the riser in the setup with your longer lever or stronger hammer curl pressure (most of time it’s longer arm lol) then they are forced to slide down your hand, to which then you no longer need to prioritize riser anymore since you’ve won it already, now you gotta attack their pinky so they can’t chase you. With you because you can kingsmove only chance Genadi will have is to try to press you if he loses his riser. However your performance against Kamil recently suggest to me Genadi will not be able to win through press.
