I reckon the op is taking about career achievements, not highest peak. Devon and most fans would agree that Levan takes this one. But John has been at the top forever, and Devon is doing so much for the sport, plus he has great accolades as well and he is crushing lads left and right now. In this regard, Denis, as great and strong as he is, is not close, I think.

The left hand Georgi match too. Georgi's elbow is literally way off the pad at the back for like 20 minutes, Devon slides his elbow on the pad once (without lifting) and gets a foul. Also got denied a running foul win in that match. Its bizarre when I hear "some people" (let's face it, its just the brain addled haters spewing the pressurized hate vomit their souls are filled with), continuously saying how "Devon cheats" -- its nonsense at such an obvious level it betrays their delusions and makes me embarrassed for them. Honestly, I wish Devon wasn't facing Levan just yet. If some how Devon beat him, everyone will say it was because of the injury and yes, who knows, that might be a factor here. I'd rather Levan comes back, shows that he's still as dominant as before, and THEN face Devon so people don't throw out the excuse of Levan's injury if he loses. It's almost a winless match for Devon.
@HafizShivji78611 ай бұрын
It doesn't matter what people say .. it's Levan who's wanting he's throne back not the other way around Devon just needs to beat Levan like he defeated Denis & keep moving.
@XYZZYX-g3l11 ай бұрын
Ehm.. no? Levan is still KOT master of the universe. Nothing changed. Devon merely "collected" near 100% certain wins, like Prudnik, Dave, Denis, now Georgi. It IS and WAS predictable. Devon is merely buying time and hopes he can get ready for the Levan match. Levan has the hammer so he is the king. Devon must proof his worth. I agree with your Levan April argument, though I root for Levan. If I would be Levan I would make 100% sure that I am 120%. If Devon then loses, he might never get a chance again.@@HafizShivji786

All of the internet know-nothings who said Denis would destroy Devon...then made excuses about Denis not having enough prep time (despite having 8 months and was obviously cycled on). So if Devon beats Georgi on less than 30 days rest and prep, weighing 100 pounds less than him, what will be the excuse then? When will it count for the people who dislike him? Devon usually goes into open toproll/kings instead of that wedging of the arm to get a stop. He can and has done the wedging before, but it's risky for the elbow. Michael Todd used to do it a lot. What's interesting with Levan, is if Devon can manage to get that stop, it usually requires a press to put down a good kings mover. Levan may not be able to transition to a press since he's so big. Many pullers don't. It's the reason why Devon feels so confident with Georgi. If Georgi had a press, he could have easily beaten Jerry, but it just didn't happen.
@XYZZYX-g3l11 ай бұрын
No. He may not be able to transition to a press because he is so big, but because his style often is to "drop down" with his weight. So its not because he is big but because he drops down AND is too big or was too shy to go up again. The difference between Levan and Devon match vs Ermes is that Devon stayed ABOVE and Levan dropped down with his weigth so he couldnt press Ermes to the pad.@@ntomnia585
