I think adding an extra exit to each dwelling would be a good idea. When the building was just a school, the two doors would have allowed for multiple exits in case of a fire, but now that it is two separate dwellings, the fire marshal may require an additional exit for each for safety reasons. It's possible a window can count as an exit, but that is if the window can open enough to fit people through and usually old buildings don't have windows like that. It might be an interesting 'development' of the property over time if you added one of those highschool pack windows instead of another door to replace a window in each dwelling just as a nod to how regulations have changed over time.

The build is looking lovely as ever. For things to add, I think on the roof with the bell, it could do with a weather vain at the opposite end to the chimney to add another tall thing to bracket it in. Also don't forget about their post boxes. It was my birthday yesterday, I didn't do anything in particular on the actual day but I saw some friends and played an in person session of dnd at the weekend, which was nice. Also you don't need to apologise for your anxiety. Brains be crazy sometimes

Hey Aden, this school house build is giving me proper cosy vibes for some reason, maybe because the video started off with the village in snow, but IDK, it just looks like it would be the sort of place I would love to live in, if it was real. I wondered whether adding some guttering and drainpipes would be an idea, cos with those steep rooflines on a rainy day, you're going to get more run-off than a Victorian streetwalker. I'm not religious in the slightest, but I'm the same as you with Christmas. It's about family and being cozy and all the pretty lights and sparkly shiny things lol. Middle of this month will be the adoption anniversary of our kitty boys... they're about a year and a half old and still veryyyy much kittens... so I likely wont be decorating much lol. Last year we had to put our very small tree away before it even had ornaments on it haha. Nowhere was safe, so we gave up. I'm not in the mood for that stress haha. They're cute, but they're a bit crazy and chaotic. I'm babbling, sorry.

for the roof part, maybe add a one tile/ really small roof and put it there so it joins. Put the small one and drag it across so that it joins with the other. I don’t play sims personally but I think I have seen other people do that. Can you check if that works.

I quite liked seeing the brick wall of the courtyard, I think the hedges swamp it too much, maybe instead you could use the cottage living grass and there's some nice debug ivy for fences/ half walls and maybe some grime decals to make it look a bit older and weathered? Welcome back to the UK. I've missed your videos, but I hope you had a wonderful time in the NL :). Hopefully stayed away from the "devil's lettuce" haha xD.

I know I’m picky but « Je ne sais quais pas » is a bit incorrect. To form “I don’t know” in French it should be « Je ne sais pas » as in French the double negation structure goes subject + ne + verb + pas. I don’t mind it though, just saying. « quoi » means “what” and it can be used as the last word in this short sentence. Sorry, I don’t mean to be party pooper, I’m just a French mayor in college and wanted to clean that out for anyone wondering. I love your little sayings tho Aden! 😅

It's because it's not the same thing: "je ne sais quoi" doesn't mean "I don't know" it means "I don't know what" and it's from the French expression "(avoir) un je ne sais quoi" which is used to describe something/a quirk that makes something/someone unique/beautiful even tho you can't put your finger exactly on what. Aiden is actually using it correctly, you can say in French "ces rideaux ajoutent un je ne sais quoi à la pièce" // "Those curtains adds something to the room (that makes it better)
