I just want to say… your videos make me happy. I’ve been a stay at home mom to a one year old girl and to pass the time I have been watching all the let’s build the World Series. I have finally caught up!! I watch you so much that now EVERY time my one year old hears “Well hello my darlings” she comes running out the room with a smile ! Thank you for bringing the smiles ☺️

Are you going to add one of the new (as in from life and death) swingsets? I can imagine rumors among the villagers still hearing children playing on it..! But when they go out there's nobody there..!

I think the bell might look more natural if it is centered over one of the front doors. I think surrounding the bell with columns and putting a roof piece on top would look nice as well.

Loveeee this build! Idk why, but I picture the headmistress with two smart looking dogs, perhaps Dalmatians? And she’s named them after either some love interests in classical romance novels (Fitzwilliam and Heathcliff), or after members of the royal family, if she swings that way.

I love old schoolhouses that have been converted into residences, and I’m looking forward to seeing this creation! It is rather cold, grey, and blustery here today and your snowy Henford-on-Bagley intro was perfect for my current mood!

The lower roof can be a half gable roof, a two-tile room on the upper level in the middle running the length of the lower build, then another half gable on the other side of the room, and finally a two-tile gable roof on top of the new skinny room. If you do this you'll have to pitch the roof up 5 ticks, which might be one too many for the look of the build (but maybe it would be worth it?) and also you will have a stupid skinny two-tile room on the upper level that you'll most likely have to leave unfurnished

Ooh, or instead of adding the skinny room, you can play with the eaves on the inner side of the lower roof, and add a tiny two-tile gable intersecting the upper roof to meet the lower roof... (does any of this make sense? It makes sense in my head). The roof would still need to be pitched up 5 clicks. Sorry!

The roof being higher than the room causes the glitch. If you add, put the roof back one title back. You can drag the eave over on one side with the shift key.

i go a solution for the roof disturb the room upstairs. Put a cheminey at this place with a exterior wall like downstairs. A fireplace in the masteroom could be cozy during winter ;)

Something that would be super cool is a super old church bell tower somewhere in Henford! I know there’s on in Ravenwood so I wonder if it’s in debug!

Because the roof is higher than the wall height in the bedroom, you could try making a one tile wide room above the owner's suite with a small full gable on top and two half gables above the lower floor to complete the roof. I had to do this to fix the roof on one of my builds that was having this same problem.

I'm so excited to see this build progress! The L-shaped design is clever, and the communal garden is a great touch. Are you planning to add any historical details to the interior, like an old school desk or anything else that alludes to the old school?

This build reminds me a bit of the old school house in Port Isaac in Cornwall which was converted in a hotel at the end of the last century.

Did you try leaving 1 tile in between the room and the roof an then pulling just the flap from the roof out to connect with the room? Or maybe make a skinny 2 tiles wide room? you can make it as long as you want, even conecting to the other end of the roof, no need to delete the roof so you won't lose the work you have done.

this house and story that used to be a school reminds me of a Danish tv reality serie about a normal non rich family. it´s 3 generations of ladies and the grandma who is from england has lived in Denmark for 40 years or more. she had a twin brother that she lost contact with. in her last years she decided she want to go back and try and find him. or the daughter did most of the work, because her mom hated her family. not her brother but her mom and dad and she is afraid of flying so she hasn´t been back since. the daughter find the brothers relatives still living in England. also 3 generations his wife and kids and grandkids. so we get to meet them for the first time. it was emotional because the brother had died a few years back so the grandma was sad she didn´t get to se him again. but just the walk down the small city reminds me of this town in the sims and the little bridge and lake and the old school building and she hated that school and her old house which was still the same from when she left 40 years ago. funny enough the relatives stayed in the same city (not the same house) where they grew up.

love it! this may seem obvious, but have you tried just drawing a wall on those 2 tiles where the roof meets the room? it happens sometimes that the roof wall overrides the room wall

I have a great idea, could you please, build st. Luis graveyard? With castle, death, and paranormal packs? It's hard, but I know that you are up for the challenge. I know that you could do it justice and no one else has done it yet. It would be amazing. It's exactly what I picture for a Sims grave yard. Candles and flowers and the most interesting architecture. I know that you have many things lined up. But think about it please.

Erm the guy who strolled past was that the hot detective? I have suggestion for the door to the 1 bed place, there is a large wooden double door from cottage living which i also think comes in different colours if you want the double door look and you're worried about the skulls

Is the roof doing that because it's a medium wall height on the bottom floor? So upstairs it's 'filling' in the upper wall instead of making a separate roof section, maybe.
