Devourment - Babykiller (Guitar Cover)

Yeah I know. It's not the most original song choice, but I fucking love it anyway. That said I present to you my (sloppy) guitar cover of "Babykiller" by the mighty Devourment. Hope you like it and keep it brutal.
Initially this was made for one of my film classes. We had to create a video diary of our everyday life and I filmed myself playing guitar. Only a couple of seconds of the cover made it into the actual Video, but I liked it, so here it is in full. All I did was put the song underneath and correct the colours a bit.

@@lenol0315 Oh that's actually a good question. I honestly don't know. When I started playing guitar I learned Jungle Rot songs, because they're comparatively easy lmao. There definitely are easy to learn slam songs, but I can't really think of any right now. Maybe check out some early Epicardiectomy or Abominable Putridity and then go from there.

@@skelly87real Unfortunately not. I've been sitting on an unfinished demo for more than a year now, and I've written enough songs for a second demo already, but you know how it is sometimes. Life gets in the way. I still need to record vocals (and write some lyrics) and program the drums. I have absolutely no idea how that's done though and I haven't had enough free time as of late to really get into learning it. But we'll see.

@@Divine_Serpent_Geh Yea that's true. I used a Tab for this, and just made a couple changes as I saw fit. But overall pretty tough to figure it all out by ear. The production just makes it all sound so muddy. Love it, though.

It's nothing special, really. I use the DigiTech "Death Metal" Pedal and the Artec "Noise Gate". I think I got them each for less than 40 Bucks, but they get the Job done.
