This isn’t at all meant to be insulting but I think your teeth not being straight kinda adds to your beauty and aesthetic. I think it makes you look even cuter and especially highlights that 60’s vibe in a natural and believable way.
@DevynCrimson5 жыл бұрын
Aw thank you! Not insulting at all. Personally I just don’t feel like teeth have to be straight to be decent looking like idk they just don’t bother me haha. I used to be really self conscious about it but I’ve learned to love it. It’s definitely a part of me. 💖 I even had too braces for a year but they took them off so soon and then I lost my retainer when I moved states so I was SOL haha 😂😭 “oh well” I said!

I think because straight teeth are a staple look in this decade. Almost all kids get braces, while in the 60’s it wasn’t as popular

The 60's and early 70's remind me of my momma, she was in highschool and a young woman during those eras and although my childhood happened in the 90s a lot of the home decor and music I grew up with were from those periods. I remember going through her old polaroids and photos and seeing this beautiful vibrant woman with all her friends and family and feeling a strong sense of nostalgia from a time I never knew and I've been hooked on ever since. You look like you walked out of one of those polaroids, so I think you nailed it!

Me too! My mom still used the same makeup in the early 90’s that she wore in the late 60’s! It is just so refreshing and nice to see someone my age that is genuine and true... I can tell you really are a 60s bird (: I love your style because it is so refreshing and different from what all the other videos are putting out, it makes me sad when so many girls are looking up to all these gurus that cake their face with so much product, have eyeshadow and the contour and the concealer, it just makes them all look like drag queens, it promotes buying so many unnecessary products we don't need, and it makes girls think they need to completely mask themselves to feel pretty, and they all look the same because they all have those gross lip fillers and other mods done. You are the best because you are genuine and beautiful and you show us that we don't need layers upon layers of makeup... I think your prettier then all the other beauty role models, but more importantly I think you are on the inside beautiful and groovy and it shines through. You should have more subscribers because your a breath of fresh air, your unique , and you play the best music in your videos xoxo peace and love to you

You don’t have to put others down to lift her up, you may not like that style of makeup but you have to respect it. Makeup is an art, it takes time and skill for those beauty influencers to get where they are and that dedication is inspiring to many. Although I personally agree that less makeup is better looking and more comfortable on myself, not everyone is me. Is there a problem with people telling girls that masking their face is okay? Yes, absolutely. But, there ARE beauty influencers are making the change to promote that feeling beautiful comes within. Whether getting all dolled up makes you feel great or just rocking a next to nothing, who is anyone else to judge? Spread love ❤️.
@Kitticane6 жыл бұрын
jess She wasn’t dragging anyone she was speaking generally. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, and honestly too much makeup can be a bad thing in hot weather especially if you don’t have the best, high end makeup on the market. Which hardly anyone does unless you are a beauty guru... Beauty gurus aren’t always looking out for their viewers. People like Manny MUA and Laura Lee are trying to make millions off of insecure teenagers and young adults. Beauty gurus are just normal people with a lot of money, but too many people idolize them to the point where they aren’t themselves. Jeffree Star is one of the only gurus that seem to hold themselves and actually want to support others and not drag them. We definitely need more influencers who stay out of drama and don’t post on social media everyday about someone new.
@marie-nm9jo5 жыл бұрын
How old is she?
@jess-yh6ci5 жыл бұрын
Stephanie Hanley Let me address your comment in order. There are many gurus who use affordable products in their videos and share tips about how to wear makeup in certain climates or situations and that’s not really relevant to what I was talking about so I digress. It’s fine if her opinion is that less makeup is better FOR HER or saying she likes that style better but to say that all who wear heavier makeup is bad is just rude. I never said all beauty gurus are amazing role models and i definitely was not referring to Manny MUA or Laura. I agree that the beauty community needs to stop being so negative and drama fueled and that’s one of my main criticisms of it, but there are great influencers and to discredit them only because the bad ones are the loudest is nonsense. Of course, you and everyone is entitled to their opinion but to talk so harshly with generalizations is never a good idea.
