There's another channel that has been promoting the Grabo tool for a few years, also in combination with their acrylic router templates. Seems like a slick tool, but the built-in battery was a bit annoying. Nice to see a partnership with a tool company to enable swappable batteries!

I have the Grabo Pro lift and recently went out and bought the DeWalt I was excited that it would be on a battery platform that I had after using both side by side. There's no doubt that the original Grabo is a far better product. Sure, the Dewalt has some nice features that were added I like the rubber grip on the DeWalt and I definitely like the safety as far as shut off but other than that the original Grabo outperforms it. There is no comparison. What I'm really looking forward to is Milwaukee jumping in so they will do a far better job and on their M12 platform it will be even better. As far as I'm concerned, this is a fail on DeWalt sides. They should have used the same internals that are in the original Grabo Pro. The DeWalt will be returned and I'll be ordering a second Grabo. I held out waiting for this one knowing it was coming to market. Should have just bought another Grabo. Plus I can fit two in a systainer nice and clean . Hell Let's face it the price is the same.

Redundant argument when you can’t lift anything close to 200 pounds by yourself anyway. If you have two men for the job, you probably can do without having grabo anyway, so the fact you’re buying one to make single man jobs easier should make the difference in weight completely useless. Dewalt is much bigger of a company and prone to lawsuits, which probably made them lower the lifting capacity down to lower potential for disaster, but I’m willing to bet it would perform almost identically to a grabo. Grabo literally made the product, dewalt just slapped their name on it. 260 pound limit is an insurance policy.
