Does Milwaukee have a version of this in their pipeline?

I remember looking into this tool a couple of years ago but the price and habing to go into yet one more battery platform kept me away. Great to see more people compete in this market

Grabo was probably the brand you looked at. They partnered with DEWALT

@@WorkshopAddict yeah youre right and honestly makes sense. im not in the market for such a tool but your video does make me droll.

I think they could also make a 12v max version of this tool!

We’ve already had to send three of these back because they don’t work properly. We also have the grabo originals and zero issues. I think there’s a design flaw with these and I’m a huge dewalt fan.

@@davebarnhart4129 what is failing?
@davebarnhart412921 күн бұрын
They don’t reach full suction on any of the flat surfaces. One would reach -7 and the other -10 and stall out and stay trying to reach full suction so basically just keep running. These should definitely reach full suction on an igu (insulated glass unit). On a non porous surface like that they should work properly. That was with three different units all with the same failure. Definitely can’t trust these in a commercial work environment when they fail right out of the box. Bummer because I was excited to add them to my kit.

@@davebarnhart4129this sucks to hear. Could it be due to not using the recommended 20V Max volt batteries? I purchased one today but haven’t picked any batteries up for it yet. They’re costly, hoping to buy once cry once.
@davebarnhart412920 күн бұрын
Batteries should 100% not matter, But I tried with fully charged power stack, flexvolt and xr batteries with the same results. I own a lot of dewalt tools and use them every single day at work in a commercial setting. I’m a dewalt fan through and through these just unfortunately ended up being a dud.

Every glass company should have one

Every glass company already has suction cups with a thumb pump on them. Like 5 pumps and they're stuck to whatever you need. Lol

You have never installed a huge bathroom mirror then. Or needed a handle on an appliance. So many uses for the right person, like any tool.

Once you get one you’ll find more uses for it and then curse yourself why you didn’t get one sooner. I can lift drywall/sheet goods without bending/squatting and lower it when going through doorways without bending, etc.
