Nice and to the point video! I actually bought the Dewalt in this test, and this is what I've found as well. Fortunately, the main reason I got it was the Brad nail application for small crafts, so I kept it. A little sanding gets rid of anything still sticking up. I have pneumatic guns for the serious work.

Yo, try pushing the dwalt down with your other hand. I've found it sinks the staples better as there's some kick back.

Fantastic video. This was VERY insightful. Thank you.

You're results don't match the results I've seen from that tool when I use it. Light pressure on the power adjustment knob makes a huge difference as another commentor stated
@sealand0003 жыл бұрын
You were steadying the Stanley with your other hand, but not so the Dewalt. Makes all the difference.

Does the sharp shooter staple on the knots? Wondering why you didn't show that.
@kwok3d3 жыл бұрын
laziness lol. I thought about ending the video before shooting any knots, wasn't part of the plan. But I should have done that with the Sharpshooter, sorry :(

Lol, thats ok i appreciate the content. I was just curious. That sharp shooter is no joke! Trying to find the right staple/ brad nailer. Any suggestions?

My Dewalt electric works sometimes but then other times the staples buckle. Im stapling canvas onto wood. It is really messing up my artwork at times. I was wondering if it was the the denseness of the wood.?
@kwok3d3 жыл бұрын
It's definitely not the hardness of the wood, canvas wood are mostly soft wood. It's how bad dewalt made this tool. I would suggest going back to manual ones.

Thought the brads did fair. Did you ever try 1/2 in brads?
@kwok3d4 жыл бұрын
Plan on trying that next. 1/2 is more suitable for most applications. I bought the longest and shorest to see how extreme it performs.

Nice test. Could you please tell me how many amps or watts this stapler is? I'm sure its 120Volts but I need to find out the watts or amps since I'm in Australia and have to buy it from the US.
@kwok3d4 жыл бұрын
It says 6.4 amp (at 115v) but for that split of a sec when hammering the staple out for sure.

How do you load the staples into the multitacker? I put my staples in and they slide back and forth inside the stapler. Nothing inside to hold them in place and push them forward? I’m confused. 🥴
@kwok3d4 жыл бұрын
Did u get the right size of the staples?
@jodiehamilton85184 жыл бұрын
K O Yes. I have 3/8 10mm. My 5 in 1 isn’t wired but that shouldn’t make any difference
@kwok3d4 жыл бұрын
@@jodiehamilton8518 3/8" 10mm is the height of the staple... as well as 8mm 14mm 16mm etc. I say if you can shut the clip, you should be able to them out.

great review. wished I would've watched it yesterday. just bought the dewalt and it's completely useless. my manual Arrow staple gun is much better. I'm a big Dewalt fan, but this is definitely going back. Looking for something better.

Stanley works good I've got one but my hands won't do the work anymore in comparison I'd rather have the electric one or I would spend out the money for a air powered staple gun and cut out the middle man for sure

why would Dewlt make such a lousy stapler ?!
@kwok3d4 жыл бұрын
I asked the same question. I was hoping that dewalt would save me tedious efforts and time but it's a total waste of money. This is hobby class, softwood, picture frames etc...
@misteress80083 жыл бұрын
Why did I just buy such a lousy staper ?!
@Ezees236 ай бұрын
This video must be sponsored by Stanley, LOL. FFS, do these folks not know how to use power tools? Any time you release the downward pressure on the actuator as you pull the trigger - the fasteners won't seat well. This is true for the cheapest stapler as well as the most expensive, heavy-duty pneumatic nail gun. I have this exact DeWalt stapler and I have NO PROBLEM seating any fastener to the depth that I need it. You must keep downward pressure to seat the fasteners - always.....
@kwok3d6 ай бұрын
I wish I get sponsored, not even paid by youtube coz i dont have enough views. I'm a lic contract from Arizona. I did apply downward pressure. This tool is junk. I use nailers from all gauges, jackhammer etc. I'm glad this stapler works for you. I make video for my own pleasure. Thx.
