DeWalt air inflator compressor 12v/20v demo (Model # DCC0201)

160 psi max on this unit! This is a demonstration of how to use this DeWalt air inflator. I keep this unit in my truck along with a few 20v lithium batteries and charger unit. I also have some cans of instant tire inflator and a patch repair kit. Always read the manual for proper use or consult DeWalt for proper operation and maintenance.

I bought a case for it to that fits perfectly for the Dewalt I absolutely love it and I did get the hardshell case because you know I’m kind rough on all my stuff but thanks for the video sir we’re going to go up to New York here from Myrtle Beach so I wanted to watch the video and I’ve taken my instructions with me and we’re ready to hit the road I’m charging the battery as we speak thank you sir.

The owner's manual says it's good for 160 psi. Not many tires are rated that high...maybe aircraft tires? It is actually 3-way powered. The AC adapter is not included...have to buy that separate.

I believe the heat was 200 degrees. It felt like it anyway. I passed though Ok pretty quickly on interstate 40. I'm falling back into my "I just want to get there mode". That's a great little compressor you got there.

Darn it, there goes my discretionary funds for another useful gadget. DeWalt has come a long ways when they migrated to to the lithium platform. It was a very pricey move, but at some point you have to bite the bullet especially the power to weight side where NiCads was not gonna cut the mustard. One of the compromises they did is that the BMS is actually on the charger itself and not on the battery. The tool monitors one of the cell to determine the low voltage cut off; the only issue I find is that if you use the 2 Ah pack and beating it with some high drain devices may cause some noticeable capacity issues. Diving down that rabbit hole of research, I able to solder a 5s JST-XH balance lead on the contact points of the charger and check the individual cells with a ISDT battery checker when the pack is docked on the charger with AC power cord unplugged. In conclusion with the tinkering side of me wanting to know more information on what the individual cells were doing and I don't push the cells to the brink of failure in my part. I'll be contemplating in purchasing the 20 volt MAX lawn mower to add to the collection. I already have the string trimmer and leaf blower...

I did not know that! Great info and tinkering. I always wished these 20v lithium batteries had a better fuel gauge. Three LED bar? Why not four? You know, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. DeWalt really stepped up their game with this inflator. There are so many on KZbin doing reviews and are also impressed. I do wish it had a USB outlet for charging phones and stuff. Yeh, that would be nice. I keep a set of motorcycle jumper cables in my truck. You really don't need the huge fat thick ones. Jumped several dead cars with them...never an issue. Also, would be cool if this unit had a USB outlet for charging your phone.

@@Tex_I_Can I know it's 3 years later, but DeWalt now makes a compressor/jumpstarter combo unit. I personally bought the compressor, but later learned about the jumpstart version, wish I had bought that instead. But honestly this compressor is amazing! I use my dewalt batteries for my other tools, just toss one in the car when I go offroading and this thing is extremely convenient when airing back up after airing down for the offroad. I see so many people hauling around long hoses for their built-in compressors, but I'd much rather use the Dewalt with battery.
