DEWALT Atomic is in the UK DCD709 XR Brushless combi Drill

Last night while searching Amazon, I found something rather Nuclear. So I was about to get rather reactionary. And now I don't know how to force in the fission pun.

Exactly on the mark! I have no idea what DeWalt is doing. Strategically the Atomic line is redundant and makes no sense with this new 12v Brushless. A complete waste of R&D resources IMHO. They should have put this money into additional tools for the 12v line. Like to see a shoot off: Atomic vs 12v.

I just got a 709 with a 5Ah batt and charger £119 toolstation, basically it's same as the 778 l had last week where l turned my back for no more than 3 mins and some really nice opportunist person took it, ah well that's life l guess, but yea these are a great combi, good power, great batter and build.

The 709 hammer drill is awesome little drill, and it packs a punch. I got mine with 2x3ah 21700 cell batteries for 105 pounds. For that price it was a steal lol.

HI, I've seen the 709 & 708 combi drill\impact driver twin set. Is this a better set than the 778 & 787 twin set, both same price at the moment? Thanks
