I was replacing the conversation kit on my jigsaw and a hex nut fell out . I’ve looked at everything and don’t know where it goes to . By the feed Ive been reading said it acts as a spacer.

I searched youtube for this same reason, watched tgis vid only to see him not know where to put this same part. It's a spring and black plastic part. Parts diagrams from Dewalt's website label the parts as "mount" and "spring" but I still can't figure out where it's suppose to go.

hi dude good job its great to see all this work for just a screw haha, i am wonder about the stroke of this model i got one and i remember the clamp was going up and down and stop at the same point when i use the 100mm blade i used to cut just 55mm but now i dont know whats happened after a piece of wood moved while cutting it and its like the blade jammed a little then here is the problem when i removed it from the piece and checked up the blade and started again the cut i figured out the stroke become deeper i mean the clamp started to go up and down deeper and also the clamp doesnt stop at the same point when i check it so it seems the device working normally but i stopped everything till i be sure i want to know what changed is there something gone wrong and i have to be worry like checking it from inside after watching the video i still confused?!!

Hi what size of Allen key did you use to take the shoe off 3mm seems a bit small and 4mm is to big thanks
