I got a broken blade out by turning on the saw so the tip was out so I could easily turn it counter clockwise. Then I used a rare earth magnet to put all the broken blade.

I had a Dewalt saw with a broken blade and tried for a few hours to get the blade piece out. I gave up and bought a new one. Another blade broke in it as well. I saw a video on here about a guy using a magnet to get the blade out but there was too much tree sap and gunk in mine holding it in. Then I had an idea, I used vice grips to turn the blad to the open position, then used dental floss to squeeze between the sides to break the gunk loose. Once I put a magnet over it, it popped out. All less than 3 minutes and without breaking down the saw. I did the same thing to the other saw and the blade in it, now rusty, also came out. I got the 300 lbs pull magnet from Amazon.

My jigsaw was losing power. All I did was blow compressed air on the motor and trigger and now it works like new. Didn’t need to replace any parts. Hope that helps someone.
