DEWALT Drywall Tools

5 жыл бұрын

"I can honestly say this is a GAME CHANGER...It's twice as strong as the competition, it holds more mud & it's super easy to use" - @DRYWALLNATION
Website: dewaltdrywall....
The DEWALT MudShot™ is a patent pending, gas-pressurized compound applicator tube that eliminates the strain of manually pushing the compound out of the tool during the traditional finishing process with a corner applicator box.
FASTER than using a corner application box & less trips to the pump.
EASIER to use and easier on the wrists & shoulders.
SMARTER - the MudShot™ is a Money Maker.
Product Features:
- No twisting or trigger for activation! Simply depress the nozzle to initiate flow by applying light force against the tool while it is on the wall.
- High gauge but lightweight aluminum handle tube that has been hard-coat anodized for extreme durability and easy cleaning. Rubber handle sleeve for added comfort. Precision machined female connection for adding optional handle extensions.
- Oversized clear polycarbonate compound chamber that provides outstanding capacity for less trips back to the pump. Premium quality urethane seal.
- Extra strong gas cylinder provides 82lb of pressure - enabling the use of thicker compounds and better flow, while still being easy to fill.
- Stainless steel ball end is compatible with the corner finishing attachments of most leading manufacturers.
- Spring loaded filler mechanism fits all pump filler nozzles.
- Quick release latches for easy disassembly and cleaning.
- Simple design for reliability and easy repair.
- GUARANTEED TOUGH®. DEWALT automatic drywall tools are backed by a 10-year limited warranty.

Looks good but Ames are the one and only real mudd tools.Tapeworm and other companies have tried to reproduce the boxes and bazookas but always seems to be some kind of issues with them. Only question I have is are they as easy to repair as AMES when you catch a screw head with the blade on the boxes or the chain breaks on the head of the bazooka.......
@gmazz0913
@gmazz0913 4 жыл бұрын
All that replaces is an auto angle tool, which, on the west coast of USA is the norm. We also use an auto taper, known as a bazooka. They have automatic tools(Tape Tech, etc.)for all the steps in drywall finishing, and the clean up is not hard at all. Most easy coast tapers tape by hand, on the west coast we tape with auto tools all the time except for small repair jobs.

Not sure what you're talking about but people on the East Coast use bazookas too sounds like a bunch of nonsense and this tool for inside corners. It replaces an angle box and is way better no comparison holds more mud takes less pressure

@@bobs6129he's not wrong is he's in Canada almost nine of us use bazookas lol. And I'll tell ya j can tape. Just as fast Beleive it or not 🤷. I've heard nothing but BAd from this tool leaking, hard to get the mud out Ext. Tbh corner boxes and alm that are junk! They only work in places that are borded very well. Come around here you will just have a huge headache. Use a super taper for inside corners then use a Columbia combo flusher then all you need to do is load. The second coat with a applicator and a tube and a reg flusher and then sand and done! I see guys putting an extra step with all the se fancy tools and theirs absolutely no need lol

Don't buy a set of these tools unless you have experience with them. Your best bet would be to hire a tape-bed and texture contractor. Most painters are your best bet. That set of tools will run you upwards of $4500 for the complete set and your only going to use them once. Now if you want to get a set of hand tools you can buy them at home-depot
