quality seems to be good, I just sold my 40V trimmer after 5+ years of use with no issues, I now have a 20V model that folds, hopefully it will last for at least 10 years

For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself.Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.

I have that same head and spool....I cannot get the freekin' spool off.!!! I hafta pry on it with 2 screwdrivers and try to pry it off. I even have used a Dremel tool to cut back all of the white circle lockers and it still takes me a ton of time to get the stinkin' think off. Will the ECHO Speed Feed head work on the 60v.? or 40v.? It is quick and easy but I think also wrong. Mine vibrated hell of a lot more after trying this method. Took the same line, cut it in two pieces and fed it into the starter holes then wrapped it around and it was much smoother.

Very helpful Video.. I was given my 20v Max and had no real idea how to sting it.. I wasn't loading the line correct so going to do that now, but what is the best line to run ? I'm using it for 90% edging along the concrete so the line ( .080 ) and it eat's it way too fast. Can you recomend a brand and size to use ? Thanks

I had tried switching to one of those zip tie style systems on this trimmer and it wasn't powerful enough to keep it going. So, I switched back to the original string. I couldn't recall how it wrapped compared to other trimmers I have.
