with 100% adept, you won't ever see novice (white) boons, but it will still roll for expert, master and legend boons. if i remember it right, the game rolls first for adept, and then the rest, so even if it fails to roll for adept, it'll still roll for the others

Small note - I think mayhem upgrades work retroactively, so it's still very good to upgrade later if you've already scaled it.

great vid ^^ pond isnt usesless btw, it gives xp over time. Also, 100% is 100%, you can see this by using the knight with the rarity thingy in the campfire menu =) you can also see the current chance on stuff on the character menu while playing =)

Upgrading Chain Lightning DOES improve the odds of triggering, by 2% per rarity level. 2% which is increased by your luck percentage, so getting a purple or red Chain Lightning will see significantly more procs than a white or blue one. Also, pressing TAB and mousing over an ability will tell you it's current stats and chance to proc, counting your luck into things. I've had Chain Lightning sitting at 85% proc chance before, and that's on the knight dude.

The massive amounts of dmg you see is chainlightning hitting the same enemy multiple times, also because of your fast attackspeed, it procs so fast that they overlap, so the dmg just ramps up to stupid levels, basically just combine chainlightning, with lightning bolt and orbs, all in on the lightning and nothing survives.

I went 4 in a row on 30 lastnight with Nixi luck. You gottta get Cool Off. 10% chance to refund all dashes, on dash. 3 dashes starts out at 18%, but the added movement scales into more luck you find on the map. I hit 500% Easily, like with blue luck perk from mort. That gave me a 60% chance to refund all my dashes when I dashed. Sometimes you get unlucky and run out.. but you see glimpses of infinite lifelink. its too nuts to not try.. and if Cool Off can be found on anything but relic we're talkin ez 100% infinite dashes

I have 80% luck off the bat, which is probably really important for the Cool Off dash shenanigans to get the ball rollin

I cannot work out what triggers this, but there is one specific sound effect in this game that sounds like someone opening a can of coke or beer or something. The net effect of this that I have chosen to interpret is that you are drinking Pepsi Max in truly herculean quantities during these videos.

pond not useless! it gives life regen as well as xp per second during the duration so its free lvls. thats what the buff is.

The game is waaay easier if you get Life on gear. You have super low max hp in all these runs and I think that's why the melee vs Merris disparity seems so large.

Anything that has a chance is affected by luck. So you kinda wanted that master wrathful strike. It can trigger on itself, making this mirror image effect constantly. Making 1 attack to 3-5 attacks, stacking 1 attack after the other.

I got a sword on Skadi with 30% chance to trigger another attack, I've already specced her for luck because I love her 8 conditions build (so much so that gloves give a chance for 5 more conditions (or some of the same conditions just higher chance)). I used to not care much for wrathful strike but on that the attacks are constant since any of the extra attacks can trigger another extra attack (and since luck scales off base chance that 30% is insane, wrathful only goes to 20? at higher levels).

my best build is almost always, Master Armor lvl 5, Consecrate Master lvl 5, Mayhem, Master Soulstealers lvl 5, Deadly Strike, Ravens, Seredipity, Gem high, force, and whatever legends or other stuff that comes along , but the Armor + Consecrate basically makes you invincible, and even the last boss will just kill him self trying to kill you. Everything else dies to mayhem. soulstealers.

Chain lightning with fast att speed and LOTs of luck can carry a game easy. You should try playing Krom with pretty much all God of war talents and getting the fire damage on auto attacks from Summer (or double attack chance from Lightning God). He cleans.

Dex i dropped that Necromancer Pendant unique you dropped the other day, you should give it a chance, it summons 25 skeletons at once, im using it always i really like it.

I dont think spell duration affects time gem. I didnt see it duing my play time but i could be wrong, or rather i hope i am wrong.

I does, but going from 1 seconds to 2 seconds won't keep it up between waves.

it does affect it, and it is almost always better to take spell duration over more levels in gem high because spell duration also affects other skills. the first level in duration gives something like 10% which increases gem high by the same amount it gets if you upgrade its rarity.
