In the beginning of the show I was absolutely not convinced that Patrick could play a young Dexter. I couldn't see him as Dexter the lack of looking like him threw me off and I just wasn't accepting it. But after the first few episodes and this scene especially, he's got Dexter's cadence and voice down to an exact science. It's very impressive and I can definitely see a young Dexter now. Bravo Patrick. The entire cast is actually fantastic and spot on. It was definitely hit or miss with this show and it's a hit for sure. It's definitely going to only be one season though from what I hear it ends heading into Resurrections.

I am also very skeptical of your claim that ressurection starts when original sin ends as I find it very hard to believe that a prequel carries information that is important to the sequel so much so that it cant play out without it.
