Its simple She doesn't want to confront her Dad because she don't think she'll be taken seriously like she wants to be because he'll be joking around which he uses as a defense to get her out her shyness. She got her Mother to confront him on it because she knows the Mom will be taken serious. She does need to have that one on one with her Dad and not let it wait too long because she's holding all her feelings inside and it's all being pent up.

She is literally an angel, she’s beautiful and have a soft voice. If my dad ever did that to me, first of all I would NEVER talk to him again. Why would you be telling my business to everyone?
