BoA is the queen of K-Pop, she's been around since, well, child hood, she debuted in 2000 at 14, she has done a lot of songs for Anime, and is fluent in many languages, she's popular in Korea of course, Japan, China, and others. She's been in the industry from an early age, and is now 31 years old, so she's been around for a long time, and she is well known for her dancing, it is very unique sh'e one of the best dancers, and she's a real good singer of course. She wouldn't still be this active in the industry if she wasn't good. If you've ever watched Inuyasha (the Anime) you'll hear her voice cause she sang the songs :P She can speak Japanese, Korean, English, and even a little Mandarin Chinese. She has debuted a full English album in the US in the past. She is known for K-Pop and J-Pop naturally. She has so many songs it's crazy, in so many genre's, and Anime. She, is at this stage, not just a Queen, not just an Idol, but a Legend. All her music is worth checking out. If you are a K-Pop fan, you have to be aware of and know BoA's music, it's a must. BoA is who got me into K-Pop in the first place by way of watching Anime when I was young, and via BoA, I went down the K-Pop rabbit hole, so she is my introduction to K-Pop.

She debuted at age 13 in 2000 and is currently 31 years old still releasing good music. She was the first kpop artist to chart on billboard 200 and the first kpop artist to break through in Japan. She speaks many languages including English and Japanese so she has released songs in Japan and America. Her name is BoA (pronounced like the snake), and is her real name (Kwon Boa); she’s the queen of SM Entertainment (who boast SNSD, TVXQ, Red Velvet, Super Junior, and NCT) and also the queen of Kpop, and debuted at the young age of 13 (in 2000 if I recall correctly). She’s also super popular in Japan (she’s been a part of anime OST’s; most popularly as an ending theme song for InuYasha (one of my faves)) and was the first to break the Korean-Sino import/export wall between both countries. Eat You Up was part of her American debut album released in 2009 (the song was released in 2008, and I remember this because I was a freshman in high school and really wanted to request this song during my school’s first dance lol). Also a fun fact: she was in a movie with Derek Hough (mostly known as a coach and contender on Dancing with the Stars, and brother to Julianne Hough) called Make Your Move. You haven’t really heard of it because it didn’t really do that well, but it showcases both BoA and Derek’s dance skills :)
