Beautiful! Always a thrill to see a really big composite glider in its element. Slicing through those climbing turns, you can almost TASTE the efficiency. :-)

Stunning model, stunning vid. I'm exited for flying when I get my Middle Phase built. I am a complete novice and I have only flown a slope soarer once when I went up to Itford with my dad, it was a crash damaged fiberglass model we had found at a dump. with a bit of work it flew for around a minuet before nose diving into a fence when the control horn came clean out of the elevator, but in that time I became hooked! Looking forward to meeting some people and getting some tips.

We've all been there and made those kind of cockups! Get that Middle Phase sorted and you'll be competent in no time. Come and visit us at Thurnham if you get a chance, or maybe we can tie up next time we visit the South Downs.

Wow. What a great day of flying. Nice video. The camera man was working overtime that day.

To top it all we had our German visitors with a selection of nurflugel with them Kent. Tricky conditions on landing led to some collateral damage though :-(

I see that you chose not to post the crash porn. Wise move. According to our social media, we are all expert pilots!

I would just like to observe it was the nurflugel that sustained crash damage, not my DG800!
