an interesting difference between the kyubin/yoojung scene and this one is that yoojung was still in the phone booth and kyubin had to literally go inside while mill was already at the open door and stepped out as soon as he saw nine! so i think that while yoojung might've been waiting with an open door, kyubin had to make the first step but mill was already ready to step out and did so immediately, much more open to taking action himself

To me, it felt like Mill was waiting for him. Despite being bullied, he isn't afraid to accept who he is and is ready to step forward towards the one he likes. The innocence of first love? VS Yoojung who's fear of prejudice has kept him from being free. He's stuck pining from the sidelines, too afraid to take that first step.

@@sabrinapugtails yeah exactly ^^ yoojung wanted to be himself but needed someone else to make the first move and mill is brave enough to do it himself

Thank you for another insightful reaction. As a man of a certain age, I can say with certainty that I never thought I'd see MV's such as this (and all the others in this arc from OOO). I love that it gives hope to all of us that are different. I wish I would have had someone like Nine during my high school years. It takes true bravery to go against the grain and live your truth. I'm looking forward to your reaction for Nine's MV!

on twt I saw smn saying that there isn't cranes in this mv as in the relationship between they don't have anything they long for or are missing in the relationship. they have the most healthiest relationship between the 3 couples and only need eachother.

Great reaction!! I love the way you keep going back to the other mvs!! This song hits hard, love it love it. I really liked they showed Mill being bullied inside the classroom with other student watching. Bullying is such a colective activity, even in the pasive role.

I really appreciate you going through the feelings and emotions hidden behind this mv and how OOO are always here to support, in their own way, their fans and people who may feel that being yourself, being different, is a bad thing. You are so right to mention that their side of the world is not necessarily accustomed to these depictions when it comes to relationships, but the boys want to go further and open the door for more people, to be accepting, kind, and to be there for people who struggle, for whatever reason.

I'd like to think we're watching this universe timeline in reverse, with Mill and Nine's relationship being the first and Junji and Rie being the last. First, we have Mill and Nine are in their freshman year, while Junji, Rie and Yoojung (not friends but mere acquaintances) were seniors, and Kyubin the teacher. They meet and fall in love (we still need to see Nine's pov but you get my point) Then fast forward 2-3 years we see Kyubin and Yoojung's story, Yoojung already having this puppy crush with Kyubin since high school while Kyubin doesn't really remember him. And although we don't see them properly in a relationship at the end of both their mvs, it's in Junji and Rie's story that we can infer that. Fast forward to the summer of that same year Kyubin and Yoojung's meet again, we can see Junji chatting with his former teacher Kyubin in a fancy cafeteria, with Yoojung working as a barista there now so we can assume that, maybe with Kyubin's help, Yoojung got this better job and started a relationship with the older man. And back with Junji and Rie, we know how it went: they meet each other again, have a precious summer romance but ultimately they break up. So yeah, that's how I visualize this whole timeline, hopefully Nine's MV will give us an insight of how his and Mill's relationship ends.

Did you notice Nine was playing basket ball with Yoojung, Junji and Rie? Love how the other members keep getting incorporated into the videos and their world. Also, does this mean that Rie and Junji's characters worked things out and stayed together?
@tara82882 жыл бұрын
I feel like while the elements in the stories are connected (like the phone booth) this is probably a different universe because in their own story, Junji and Rie didn't seem to be in high school (or didn't seem to know each other at all before meeting in the coffee shop)
@sabrinapugtails2 жыл бұрын
@@tara8288 hmmm. I see the videos as running on a time line. KB and Yoojung meet in the first 2 and aside from Nine walking by the Cafe (they joke about this in the making-of video for begin) nine of the others appear because they haven't been introduced. Then both KB and Yoojung appear in Junji's mv because he and KB are friends. And well, KB is going to always hang out where ever Yoojung is working. Rie is solitary, so his mv doesn't have the other group members, but Junji draws him out to the outside world so it's nice to see him playing basketball with his new friends, who are at the school because...... Yoojung is now hanging out where KB works(?). Lol.

I think I'm this world, KB, Junji, Youjung and Rie are all working adults. Whereas Mill & Nine are under age, highschoolers. Although it's weird to think adults are allowed on school grounds, I'm going with Junji, Rie & Yoojung being their mostly to hang out with KB.
