Who was what?...That's something that I only discuss with friends. It was my mother. She tried it once before, with pills, but I found her in time. And then, one morning I saw that look in her eyes again, not sad, just empty. She swore to me that she would be fine, so I, I went to school. And by the time I got back well, how was I supposed to know, she was going to pull it off this time? Yeah, that's what the note said, "I am sorry". That's it. I don't have a mom for the rest of my life and she thinks those 2 little words are gonna make up for that.

I am sure they would know that and feel that, but will their loved ones hold space for them to listen to them and affirm their feelings? There is so much shame around mental health struggles, and so much stigma around those who choose suicide, but listening does save lives.

When you get to the point of feeling like suicide is the only answer, you truly believe that you are doing the people that love you a favour. It's not selfish in the moment, but if you make it through, you realise the impact it would have had and that you would have just spread your suffering to them.

@@charlottehalsall5488 Without a doubt there’s more than 1 type of character that considers suicide. Whether it’s ending their own misery or believing they are ending it for the sake of others. Some are suicidal in their own corner and others loudly toxic to others
