According to this volume, for centuries, Europe has often benefited from Islam without acknowledging its contributions or giving anything in return. This book presents a comprehensive study of leading world views and establishes the place of Islam as a dominant ideological force. This powerful sweep of its logic gives the reader a sense of the beauty and universality of Islam. The author wrote this analysis of the human condition while struggling against Communist/Serbian control during the 1980s. This work is his attempt to elaborate the ideological underpinnings of the central political argument of the "Islamic Declaration." It is thus part of the intellectual preparation which he considered necessary before proceeding to the next step of establishing Islamic government. The author's thinking seems to center on a single simple formula -- Islam is the only synthesis capable of unifying mankind's essentially dualistic existence. His approach is to attempt to fit everything -- notably all philosophy and science -- into his three preconceived categories (his "religious, " "materialistic, " and the "Islamic" views of the world). These categories are summarized in the book's appendix as the "table of the opposites." The "Islamic" is the synthesis of the other two, which unites them, as it unites the dual aspects of man's nature. "Man" as a whole thus belongs in the "Islamic" category. The author devotes many pages to expressing his regard for science and attempting to recount what he takes for those of its findings that seem to support his thesis. A golden age of scientific knowledge is one of the benefits he foresees from Islamic renewal.

അപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ടചരിത്രം അനേകമുണ്ട് രെക്ഷിക്കാൻ പോയി ജീവൻ നഷ്ടപെട്ടവരും അനേകമുണ്ട് അതിൽ ജാതിയോ മതമോഇല്ല നൗഷാദ് ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ അത്‌മതത്തിന്റെ കണക്കിൽ പെടുത്തുന്നു ബുദ്ധന് ദൈവവിശ്വാസം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടപ്പോഴാണ് മൃഗബലി തെറ്റായി തോന്നയത് എല്ലാ സുഖസൗകര്യവും ഒഴിവാക്കി മനുഷ്യന്റെ ദുരന്ത നിവാരണമാർഗം അന്വേഷിച്ചു ഇറങ്ങിയത് ഏതെങ്കിലും വിശ്വാസിയായ രാജാവിന് ഇതുവരെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തു എത്താൻ സാധിച്ചില്ലെന്നതും വാസ്തവമാണ്

മനുഷ്യന് ഒന്നുമറിയാത്ത പ്രിമിറ്റീവ് അവസ്ഥ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് പൊതുധാരണ. ആദമിന് അല്ലാഹു അറിവ്നൽകിയ പോലെ എല്ലാ ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങൾക്കും അല്ലാഹു ഓരോ ടെക്നോളജി പഠിപ്പിച്ചതായി ഖുർആൻ പറയുന്നു. ആമസോൺ കാടുകളിൽപോലും അമ്പതിനായിരത്തോളം ആളുകളുള്ള വ്യവസ്ഥാപിത നാഗരികത ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ഇന്ന് തെളിഞ്ഞതാണ്. അവരുടെ ജീനുകളിൽ ആ സ്ത്രേലിയയിൽ നിന്ന് കടൽ കടന്ന് വന്നവരു മുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നാഗരികതകളിൽ നിന്ന് വേറിട്ട് നടന്നവരോ ഓടിപോയവരോ ഒഴിച്ച് ആദം മുതൽ ഇന്ന് വരെ മനുഷ്യരെല്ലാം ഓരോ നാഗരികതയോ ജനസമൂഹമോ ആയിരുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ ആദിമനിവാസികളായ ചോലനായ്ക്കർ മൈസൂരിൽ നിന്ന് കുടിയേറിയവരാണ്. ഗുഹാമനുഷ്യർക്ക് ശേഷം നാഗരികതയോ നാഗരികതയിൽ നിന്ന് വിട്ടു പോന്ന് ഗുഹാമനുഷ്യരായതോ?

അതൊക്കെ തന്നെയാണ് എല്ലാം ഓരോ ഗോത്രകാലത്തു ഉണ്ടായ നാഗരികത അതിനെ ചിലശക്തമായ ഗോത്രങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തമാക്കി പലസ്‌തീനിൽ ജൂത വത്‌കരിച്ചു മക്കയിൽ ഖുറൈശി വത്ക്കരണം ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ആര്യവത്കരിച്ചു ബുദ്ധിയും കൈവും ഉള്ളവർ അതിൽ വിജയിക്കുന്നു പാലസ്തിനെ ശക്തമായ റോം കിഴടക്കി മിഡിൽ ഈസ്റ്റിൽ അറബികൾ ആതിപത്യം ഉറപ്പിച്ചു അങ്ങനെ ശക്തി ആർക്കാണോ അവർ ആധിപത്യം ഉറപ്പിക്കും 1945വരെ അത്‌ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു രണ്ടാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധത്തോടെ ഇങ്ങനെ പോയാൽ മഹാ യുദ്ധങ്ങൾ നടന്നുകൊണ്ടേ ഇരിക്കുമെന്ന ബോധംമനുഷ്യന് ഉണ്ടായി അങ്ങനെ സാമ്രാജ്യങ്ങൾ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാൻ നിയമം ഉണ്ടാക്കി യു എൻ നിലവിൽവന്നു അതൊന്നും മനസിലാവാതെ ഇന്നും യു എൻ നിയമം അംഗീകരിക്കാതെ ഏകാധിപത്യം നിലനിർത്തുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്

എല്ലാകാര്യവും രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ താല്പര്യംസംരക്ഷിച്ചു കൊണ്ടാണല്ലോ മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുന്നത് അതിനുള്ള അവസരം ലളിതമാക്കികൊടുത്തു സമ്പത്ത് എത്രയും കുന്നു കൂട്ടാൻ എല്ലാകാലത്തും എല്ലാ മതവും അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്നു സ്ത്രീവിഷയം ഒന്നിൽ നിലനിർത്താൻ മുവായിരം കൊല്ലം മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായ രാമായണത്തിലും രണ്ടായിരം കൊല്ലം മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായ ക്രിസ്തു മതത്തിലും കാണുന്നു ഇസ്ലാമിൽ ഒന്നിൽകൂടുതൽ ഭാര്യമാരെയും അടിമസ്ത്രീകളെയും അനുവതിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് ആരെയാണ് സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് അതാണല്ലോ ഇസ്ലാമിൽ ബഹുഭാര്യത്തം നിരോധിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തതു
