u might be unlucky but i say do more tests cuz theoretically u have to get 1 legendary material equipment chest approximately 1 in every 10 attempts

There is something wrong-seriously wrong... I watched the vid again and out of the the 21 times the 3hr healing speeds came up as the first selection 7 times (yes 7 times) out of the 21 rounds. It is supposed to have 6% chance

@@RayzerSharpe Yep, and if legendary chest has 10% chance to be picked, then you should get it on first pick once every 10 attempts on average, right? It's been a while since I've been in stats class, but getting it on average 11-12 picks on each try doesn't seem right to me.

Yes, you're correct. The percent chance would be the same for all items if the squares were predetermined. Only variable would be certain items having more than one square. So yeah, doesn't matter where you click.

I got 129 epics total considering opening the 10 crystal keys... 129 epics are 77400gems on vip shop for 88000gems spent… All the other stuffs for me do not value 10000gems… is still better than old Esmeralda… but not so great

It’s like a bad version of the hammer event. The rewards are less while the mechanisms cost twice as much as the hammers do. Hopefully they rework it like Esmeralda wheel.

38 legendaries? How? It’s 1 per level so max of 20, max of 4 for the 100% special thing, and then about a further 10 for all the other mats gained.

@@pmin5554 I think he's using equivalent of 38 legendary to lessen the fact that that's what he got TOTAL in all materials...so the value is less than what he had. He didn't technically say he got 38 legendary chests.

I got rekt doing this. I like to do every event, at least once. The materials were nice but events like these are annoying since most players at a point where they don’t need epic gear, building/research speeds. If they added gold heads in this event and take out the undesirable prizes, more players would probably play this event.

Is this surprising? None of the "event" are random with an equal weight. They are all skewed with some of them having set rules, Card King being the worst offender.

Considering the fact that the legendary has almost 10% chance to drop, on average you would need 10 tries to complete the level. That means 4000 gems per floor on average. Edit : I am wrong, every time you don't find the legendary the pool shrinks so the probability of finding it increases.

Research / Building speeds should never be in events for a KD over a certain age. Most people's farms in older servers have maxed out buildings and could unlock t5 if they wanted to. Either that or give more opportunities to exchange useless items other than for alliance credits or at the start of KvK.

The probability for the legendary material is 9.2% at the start, i’m too lazy to do the math properly, but assuming every box opening is 9.2% then 11 attempts on average seems spot on. Could it be that the chance for the legendary is flat 9.2 and when boxes open only the other stuff is bumped?

I honestly don't believe the items are pre-determined before each round. I think it's like the crafting system. You have a 9% chance to get the legendary material. I did just as badly as you. 😂

So technically you’re better off with this event. I calibrated the gem value from VIP shop rates, and as described in the video, I got slightly better than VIP shop rates by somewhere between 10-20% when factoring only for items I care about.
