We all first got a glimpse of Dhani in the Concert For George that was put on in 2002 at Royal Albert Hall, a year after he passed, with the all-star cast performing all of his songs. If you've never seen the concert different artists from Eric Clapton to Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty all cycled through to play George's songs from I Need You and Taxman all the way through his biggest solo hits. Dhani stayed on stage through every song and played acoustic guitar. With Paul and Ringo on stage it seriously looked like Paul and Ringo got older and George didn't age a bit. Dhani could be his Dad's twin.

We often think of each album as it’s own thing but White Album, Let It Be, Abbey Road and their first solo LPs were basically a long series of recording sessions with some breaks in the middle and every now and then they’d pick the best ones, mix them and put them out. This is SO Cool! My biggest takeaway from the Get Back movie is the Love and Humor they had for each other. It is vastly different than anything written. Especially one part. For decades weve heard about this “ROW” (argument) that George and Paul were having. It was that Paul was needling George, mistreating him, belittling him and George striking back, and then one of the main reasons the Beatled broke up. THEN… you actually see it. Far from this “screaming conniption” it was described, it is more like a very calm description of solo placement! Ive had louder arguments with my Dog! It is amazing how they were protrayed and why you cant believe all you read. They had dissagreements, and tension, to be sure. But that was mostly business with the Allen Klein situation and being on edge due to deadlines, which also bothered me. “You’re the BEATLES! for Gods sake! Why do YOU guys have to adhere to anyones deadlines! Youre the biggest band in history!” So thanks to Dhani, the guys, and Peter Jackson for setting the historical record straight!

None of the Beatles disappointed. It was a brilliant insight. They were all human , and all great. It was great to see them work a song out together. But for sure you see Lennon and McCartney were such a team. It only makes you wish they did this for every album.

I was wishing that too, but then I read someone on Twitter & they think there might be been a thing where they may have felt like they always had to be 'on' & creative because the cameras were there. Would've been good to see the dynamic with Brian Epstein in the mix, though, because I don't know what it was like with him. Watching Get Back us the first thing I've seen of them properly & I listened to the new version I'd the last album & then the Naked one. Really want to get them all on CD now! And the book that goes with GB.
