In the late '60s and early '70s, I used to go to House on the Rock at least once a year. It's been 40 years or so since I've been there. I live too far away now. I enjoyed this video so much -- some of these features didn't even exist the last time I was there. The huge carousel was still in the works, and the multi-tiered carousel wasn't even in the planning stages! Thank you for a wonderful walk down Memory Lane!

i went there in 2018. i loved the place and i need to go back. it is such a unique piece of american history.

Visited there last week. The last time I had visited was 15 years earlier. It is sad that many of the attractions are in disrepair or don't function at all. I can see why, things are so complex that noone would have the slightest clue on how to repair them. That should be made a priority, though. I love the new visitor center!

Love it, but at 2:40, The narrator says "Soaring high over the Wyoming Valley" Yet This is in WISCONSIN!

It's the Ione Valley, and only sounds like he's saying Wyoming.

No, that's right. The area north of The House is known as the Wyoming Valley, just south of the Wisconsin River and encompassing Sneed and Rush Creek. I get there's some cognitive dissonance with it being the Wyoming Valley in Iowa County in the middle of Wisconsin, but those are all correct.

They did work at one point but and instrument goes out of tune every time it gets played. After getting played at least fifty times a day it would sound pretty bad. There are certain machines that do play! Hope this helped
