Barb does have a point and she's definitely right in that a TikTok campaign wouldn't work for something like this, but the way she demeans and acts superior for being older really gets under my skin. And I know that's the point, that she's supposed to be this awful person who needs to learn a lesson, but I spent years hating my generation because of the stuff my parents would tell me. I thought Millennials really were awful stuck-up kids who were always disrespectful, but it turns out the Boomers are the ones who act entitled a lot of the time because they think they know better about everything...and then they turn around and ask for help with tech issues because they can't figure it out themselves. Anyway, Dhar Mann somehow tapped into my deep well of Boomers hating on younger generations, and I hate that he did, because I abandoned all rational thought and got mad at a stupid video of his.

I can relate to the boomers hating on the younger generations part, for me most of the boomers that I met in my life were very stuck up, entitled, and rude for no reason at all for 1. I grew up brown - so I would get called a bunch of racial slurs by them / treated differently by them and 2. I am a woman - so for most male boomers they just think that I don't know what I'm doing because of my gender. This video when I first watched it just comes to prove my point about how boomers like Barb demean and act superior just because they're older and think that they know better when they're the same ones that would ask for help when operating a computer or a phone, which really what annoyed and bugged me.

Why would someone that has lots of followers and money go out of their way to promote someone else' product for free? That made no sense to me. I know I'm literally a year late but I can't believe it. That video is literally the worst video on the platform. The plot makes absolutely no sense. How did literally every telephone start ringing literally like 3 seconds after the video was published? The timing here makes absolutely no sense either. I mean, who's gonna be impressed by 6 random people putting piggy banks on a desk? I am not a lawyer but I can guarantee you that if you say that in court as the reason for your divorce, chances are that you may not only lose your income but also your custody of your child

I mean. I'm 31 and I think this is pretty unrealistic too? Like Barbara's idea isn't great because people really don't read the newspaper anymore but to take it the complete opposite direction and advertise on a platform that doesn't cater to their demographic is such a waste of marketing funds when you're going bankrupt or whatever. Like why was the idea not to bring fresh eyes into the picture and advertise online on sites and apps their demographic actually use? You know what. 😐 Nevermind. That's why they're going out of business and the only reason this would work is because kids are getting so used to being sold shit they absolutely do not need by influencers. Like can we revisit ten year olds flooding Sephora for anti aging routines or??? You can sell a kid anything and even though kids don't have houses they would still likely swipe their parents credit card if they posted items in the TT shop.

This is like if TikTok stars started advertising old folk's homes I don't think grandma is watching TikTok in her free time at least not enough to start advertising to them. It would be bad advertising and a waste of money to advertise on a platform that your targeted audience is not which means the newspaper route would be the right path even advertising on tv would be acceptable as older people watch more tv too. But to Dhar Mann, that doesn't seem logical and because he's fishing for an audience he puts TikTok at the forefront almost like his version of the twilight zone which would be the Dhar Mann zone
