Flying from my home country of Canada for a total of six months in south east Asia, I had the privilege of visiting both the Temple of the Emerald Buddha Wat Phra Kaew, , and also the great reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Simply amazing. So many fantastic temples in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and other places. In my 60’s I went for Refuge in the Triple Gem and took the Five Precepts at a Theravada Buddhist temple. I’m 70 now, and have to return to Cambodia and Thailand soon….and spend the rest of my life there, die and have a Buddhist funeral and cremation. I’m home in Buddhism. Namo Buddhaya. 🙏🏼 ☸️ 🌴

༺♡༻IMPORTANT MESSAGE ༺♡༻⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸⫷⫸ All religions come from the universe. That is the universal truth of Lord Buddha.. But in this ira we are unable to find Nirwaana... That is Time crossing.. Fortunately here in sri lanka now future lord buddha is living (as Bodhisathwa, Awalokitheswara/ Amithabha/ Mathriya) and has explained even dark energy to modern society still even scientists can not be found. Lord buddha is the greatest philosopher in the world and now we have our future lord buddha has come here for world changing.. These sermons are merely marvelous and explained all science that we have to follow for nirwaana or doctrine. This is the Universal truth.. This is the deep science which explained by every lord buddha..He has power called Diyasen power which all Buddhas' acquired and there is no word to say that this is the real way one who should follow the nirwaana path. As a one who i follow this path i can purely explained this buddha's path is fully correct with no doubt. Bcos when we after having this Buddha' s blessing we find the truth and his blessing changed our whole life and started to talk the nature with us. That is amazing experience that i have obtained. Pure guaidance and verble blessing of Buddha' must take if someone want to grant this sacred gem. I kindly request all over the people those who searching Nirwaana and take this nobel gift. 💔 joint with mydiyasen. com.. May triple gem bless you all. ༺♡༻𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓼𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓲 𝓢𝓲𝔂𝓪𝓶𝓫𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓽𝓲𝔂𝓪༺♡༻ 24.05.2023

A nice journey. The ultimate realities mentioned in Buddhism: 1.) Matter/Rupa (4 great fundamental forms + 24 derived material forms) ii.) Cetasika/Chaitasika (52 Mental Factors/fields of emotions) iii.) Citta (mind moment) iv.) Nibbana (timeless/unconditioned state or moment) Those teachings are much deeper/fundamental than modern science. I could discover those fundamental realities theoretically using a new type of mathematics. But the Buddha could discover those fundamental elements and processes with the power of his mind.

And many simply lives in confusion coz the more they dig into it , the more they can't take the depthness or the weight of its Profound Wisdom Buddhism Offers ... which goes beyond Gods , beyond a mere Philosophy or some religious tag given by People as they given the same tags every other Teachings ....😢😢 Very Unfortunate 😢😢😢 May Lord Buddha be with all and guide them with all the wisdom and compassion in every sentient beings heart ❤️ Namo Buddha 🙏 🎉💐 ❤

Modern research on Near Death Experience by Raymond moody, reincarnation memories by Ian Stevenson/Jim trucker and past lives regression by Brian Weiss all independently but coincidentally show that our consciousness survive death, we live many lives and our thoughts and actions matter in the hereafter. @@spirittwo7381 You have limited intellect because 1). The butchers are not so stupid to kill for your pleasure. They kill for their greed of money and love for their job. 2). Sentient beings don't get reborn as animals and lower realms if they didn't create the relevant causes. So they are not here to enjoy a well deserved holiday. 3). Even mundane worldly laws also recognise that offenders cannot be made to pay for damages that are too remote from their offense. So don't be delusional to think you know spiritual laws better than the awakened ones.
@michellepinaud9374
@michellepinaud9374 Жыл бұрын
@@spirittwo7381 Think about it this way, how many things are you maybe killing or causing suffering to everyday? You don't really know do you? But it's happening. It happens all the time. Try to apply that same logic that you do with the Buddhist who eats meat towards your own actions and behavior. Start to trace everything you consume everyday and you may find that the conditions for how those things came to be caused some sort suffering or death for someone or something. The difference: a Buddhist is mindful, we understand that we can't live in this body and not have some sort of unfavorable impact on our environment. You say we are delusional, but I would say that delusional would be in the thinking that we don't have that impact and that all our actions are a benefit to all. No one is doing what they do with bad intentions in mind and that is the point. You also have to realize that a monastic especially can't be picky about the food they eat. Monks have a symbiotic relationship with the community. The are not allowed to grow, keep, or cook food. Everyday they collect alms and they are not allowed to cause a burden by requesting food that they like. Since most people consume meat then so do the monks. I believe that if lay people gave monks strictly vegetarian food it would be easier for them to not eat meat. As for the Lay-Buddhists who eat meat, well we try to follow the precepts the best we can but who really follows all of them perfectly? Not many, not as easy for us worldlings. But just because we don't do one thing very well doesn't mean we don't contribute good at other times.

I am from the west. I was born and raised in the rural American south. Buddhism lives here, not in yoga centers or self taught gurus, but in the sangha and the monks who dedicate their lives to spreading compassion where it is scarce. Buddhas teaching gives me hope, he is a magnet that keeps me secure to the earth even when I feel there is no gravity. I do not know why as a westerner, a single person, I must feel shame for embracing buddhas true teaching. There are Americans smart enough to see past deceit, you know….

War is deeply regrettable, to think that people's in the past having that war for such cause even more deeply regrettable. However it's doesn't dwindle the Dharma contain in Ramayana story, and it's moral value is still beyond argument. So I don't understand in what ways this video is pathetic 😅 Rama/Shinta or Romeo/Juliet is romance between human through adversity. Millions of people have been born and died, billions more will be born and also died. While not knowing what they will go through in life's and not knowing what await them after death, they do all sorts of religious practices. Narrator should really learn correct pronunciations of local landmarks. Then we could discuss the depth of dharma revealed here. Beautifully shot, though, no question...

Om Namo buddhaya ☸ Jai bhim The story about sick, person, dead person..... is not true. He had to leave his house because he went against the decision of elders who wanted to wage war against a rival village over sharing of river water. He wanted a peaceful solution through negotiations rather than through violence.

@@jamessconiers1968 Yes, of course I know that. I'm living near that Shwe Dagon Pagoda. It is covered with golden plates. Shwe Dagon means Golden Dagon ( Dagon is the old city name ). Location is 16°47′54″N 96°08′59″E. Myanmar, Yangon city. As it is believed to contain relics of the four previous Buddhas of the present Kalpa(the current earth era) because in buddhism we believed infinite amount of earth had been existed. These relics include the staff of Kakusandha, the water filter of Konaganama, a piece of the robe of Kassapa, and eight strands of hair from the head of Gautama buddha. There were four buddha lived in current kalpa ( from the begining of earth to the end). The last one in future believed to be Maitreya as the fifth and final Buddha of the current kalpa (eon), Maitreya's teachings will be focused around re-establishing the Buddha's Dharma on Earth. After the last buddha's teachings forgotten by peoples: the universe will restart again. All living thing in this infinite universe will gone till the new earth's begining. And all lives will be flourished again. This is the nature and we cannot escape this samsara. If you want to know more I can provide you much informations. Feel free to ask but you don't need to believe all I said. Do your own research.

Buddhism is a philosophy and not a culture it's origin is Sanyasa of Hinduism. It is like math to physics. It is an abstract mental concept and not a culture like Hinduism is. The attempt by the west to replace the popularity of Hinduism with its, Yoga, Ayurveda, Bhakti yoga (ISKCON) is futile.

Ok but Buddhism isn't a philosophy. It's a religion. We believe in karma, rebirth, nirvana, devas, spirits, demons, etc. And yes it is a culture, go to any mainly Buddhist country and you will see it is a culture. We have events and festivals celebrating different holy days, we have a calander, it is a culture and a religion

I was arrested on a military installation. I was wanting to mail a letter from 'their' post office because I could not be guaranteed that identical letters with our town's post office OR UPS. They took me to a Federal prison so that I could await arraignment, pre-trial, public hearing, and trial. In this facility there was a publication that referenced 'Sound of dharma'. Scramble those letters and there is 'hard Ma'. They had a person who had the same name as my mother AND her husband was in the police station on the military installation. In the 'facility' they put some ribs out of place and an additional scar to my face. Used scotch tape to cover the opening. The guard in the dispensary looked like a City Councilman . . . Harold van Gilder. "Hello, Dolly". And . . . should you seek Fabio Luisi you might find a friend of this 12 year old boy on his way to the carnival with Pinocchio. What a country! Eh?
