I'm a Muslim but Sri Acharya speaks plainly with no nonsense . If you look on KZbin about yoga or guru's , I will not name names , regurgitate the same gobbledygook from the 60s . At least I stumbled across this man to separate reality from childish fantasy .

Agree so many phonys just out to deceive and rip people off, refreshing that Sri Achariya is the real deal, and moreover practices what he preaches. A true devotee of Krishna.

I thought the same thing. In matters such as this there can be no fence sitting and wavering on the path, that is confusion and ignorance, Sri Acharya provides clarity.

Thank you. A very clear and concise explanation of Dharma. Having made a choice that was very different, I became cognitive of my commitment, a point of no turning back. This brings up some very important memories. I love the cliff analogy.

I have found many gurus. I am good at discerning and usually can detect flaws and think and "visualize" for myself. Coming to conclusions and knowing true realizaions from "some doubt" still. The suggestions on detecting an authentic guru has been intuitive to me but when explained I became more "consciously aware of it". And it has helped me even more in discerning flaws and how they affect their understanding and ability to discern and speak truth. But also most importantly, see my own flaws.

Sri Acharya, this and your other new age themed videos might be some of the most important you have done. I watched this one again yesterday, showed parts of it to my girlfriend. She loved it. She went to church as a girl, became a philosophy major in college, and blew off 100% of spirituality/religion as she didn't believe in Christianity and saw new age stuff as delusional "hippie b.s." (her fun words). He calls spiritual new agers the most selfish people she knows. Can't stand being around them, talking to them, or working with them. It doesn't help when she had one who couldn't come to work on time (she managed) due to falling asleep on a crystal, not feeling his chi was activated right, had to do emergency reiki, etc. Or others who are SJW's but can't get their heads out of their asses to deal with their own problems. So, I told her she had to watch a leader of a social community who she'd love. Totally skeptical, but she totally loved this. Hare Krishna.

You know the truth by using objective reality to determine the truth. There is only 1 truth or reality that we live in, our Individual "truth" is called perspective. Seems like a trend in new age religion to change the definition of words.

This is what I concluded as a religious studies nerd so far. And to really understand objective reality, it's really important to first understand how to humble oneself to truths that we personally may not like. This can include concepts like Dukkha in Buddhism or the themes behind the Book of Job where truths can feel out of our control or cruel to us. The interesting thing is that it also applies so well to science as well. Leave our egos at the door and we'd be able to humble ourselves to overwhelming evidence based on repeated measurements. As for things like New Age, it really annoys me both as a religious studies nerd and someone who values scientific empiricism. They throw out these tough concepts and only leave the "feel good" stuff. "You are in control of your destiny." "You can attract money and love into your life if you do this." "You can heal yourself if you do this." It's all an attractive message that could easily embellish one's own subjective "truths" and in turn puts people at risk of being narcissistic. There's also no epistemic foundation and they'd be unable to discern truths from fiction.

You mentioned that Sanatana Dharma, Buddhism, and Jainism have different goals, but you didn't say what those goals are. It would have been good to illustrate what the goal of each of those religions are. Maybe you can respond to this post or do a whole video about it.

The concept of a jealous god who should be feared makes no sense in light of philosophical discernment. It doesn't seem like Jesus proposed this though. To me, Jesus doesn't seem like a "christian" any more that Buddha was a buddhist.
