This brought tears to my eyes. A lot of foster mothers, not saying all of them, look at foster kids like a bank account. These kids deserve to be loved to, as if they were their own biological children. Treat people like you want to be treated. It's so sad, things like this happen in real life.

Amen, it's about loving the child and wanting to see that a child can be successful knowing you gave more than 100% to make a child life filled with love. Fr! Like me and my family went to a church where the pastor and his wife has fostered and then adopted a sibling group of four along with their own three biological kids. And the we saw all the time how the biological kids got everything first. They got better clothes, they got cell phones first and better phones, they got nicer cars and better cars. And they got to do anything they wanted, while the adopted kids got the cheaper stuff. It was really sad to watch.

Jesus, this literally breaks my heart. My son is from the foster system and he is mine and my husbands entire world. Although we had no idea how long he would be with us, from the moment he walked in door he was our son and have never ever treated him anything less. He is heading to high school next year and I just can’t believe what a young man he has turned into. I pray all the unwanted children find the love and stability they deserve.

I’m majoring in Child & Youth Care in University. Something interesting my Lifespan Development professor said, in relation to children’s rights, is that there’s no such thing as another person’s child. If there is something that your child needs for their well-being, then that is something every child should have. Having something for one kid but denying it to another isn’t right. Every child out there deserves to be loved and taken care of. 💕

Or if not actual punishments from the foster care system or Andrew's case worker, like the foster moms no longer having kids placed with them because that would be too realistic, then at least showing that Andrew was able to get out of the foster care system officially and live with his actual mom, and the siblings telling both the second foster family and their own mom that how they treat the kids they foster is wrong.

When I was growing up we had neighbors across the street that had 2 biological kids and had a constant stream of very unfortunate children that got stuck in their home, they were "foster kids". They would go away for the week and leave the kids with nothing. They came to our door and asked for a loaf of bread. My mom quickly got to the bottom of it and brought them all to our house for dinner. She called the social worker and the kids were removed until the family returned and then they were brought back. My mom called the police and had them permanently removed. Two weeks later new kids started to arrive. It was really sad.

@@vyperbladez5101 I don't think you know anything about child abuse or neglect. Parents are only *required* to feed their children at least 3 meals a day. Anything between those three meals are called snacks and are completely optional by the parent. Sure it's awfully mean to not let your child eat seconds if they're still hungry but definitely not illegal.
