The fact that the parents get so happy and proud in the end when Jason gets a job and cooks a meal specifically for his stepmother will rise more issues in the future. For example, if he were to all of a sudden get lazy, Jason's parents would get back to the way they were at the beginning because of their expectations. But otherwise, nice life lesson.

If you date someone who insults your child, that should be an automatic breakup! Parents should never call their kid a disappointment just because they mess up, heart to heart talks always work. Kicking a minor out of the house should be illegal and parents who do that should be arrested for child endangerment. Plus children never asked to be born parents chose to procreate, parents owe their kid everything, the kids owe their parents nothing! Any parental mistake and mess up will cause a lifetime of mental damage, so parents need to be held more accountable for their actions, especially toxic/narcissistic parents.

Verbal abuse is the worst experience through your childhood trust me I’ve been through that and I hated it and still do as an adult.
@melcournoyer7804 Жыл бұрын
My parents berated, belittled and verbally abused me from the time i was a baby until they died. Not one day went by that they didn't ridicule me for everything and anything. I remember being petrified to go home from school because I knew the verbal and physical abuse would start all over again and keep going until they went to sleep. When morning rolled around, they were right back at it. This is probably why I have so many insecurities and severe depression. I would never treat a dog the way some parents treat their children. Any kind of abuse towards a child is only going to ruin their life. I wish parents would think twice before saying and doing the mean things they say/do to their children. They are supposed to want the best for their children. Abusing them isn't the best. It scars them forever.

"Always be kind to others because everyone is fighting a battle that you know nothing about." Very true! No child should suffer and get blamed by anyone especially their own parents; it'll only fill that child's heart with sadness and anger and then take it out of others which could make them and yourself feel bad. The only way to fix that kind of problem is to talk with an trusted person such as a teacher about your situation and what makes you feel as an effect from that situation.

First off as a single father, not a single person will ever disrespect my son like that ever. If the woman I’m with so much as talks down to my son to make him feel bad because of her issues. Her ass would be either flying out a window or through a door before she knows what hit her. And even the problems I’ve had as a father, I have never brought the moss issues home, much less project those issues at my son to make him feel bad. His happiness and well-being is 100% my top priority above all else in life. I’d rather be alone ever day for the rest of my life before I ever made my son feel the way these 2 awful parents did to that kid. And yes, this does happen to many kids in life, as kids don’t get the choice to pick who their parents are. But if you as a parent aren’t up for the job then either wrap it up and not have kids or put them up for adoptions cause a child should feel wanted and the chance at a good life than miserable to the point they drive them to feel nothing but misery.

I have a different attitude. I had 2 mothers. Mom died when I was 8 and Dad remarried when I was 9. I had the best stepmother in the world. She loved and cared for me and my 2 brothers. In fact, my youngest brother had Downs Syndrome. Momma #2 was tough on him, teaching him to talk and being good. At around 8 or 9, the doctor talked my parents into putting him into a state home. He loved her so much that if you went to visit him at the state home and Momma #2 wasn't with us, he would turn right around and go back inside. She had been both tough and loving to him and he was so grateful to her.

I guess that Jason's father and stepmother were able to redeem themselves and apologize by the way that they were treating him.

This video made me smile at the end because I lost all of my friends today (at least most of them) over 1 of them arguing with all of them and me not picking a side so they all blocked me. This video made me happy in the end first time today.

Such maturity!!!! Well well... Time teaches some early some later. Eventually integrity counts in life. Strong minds defy arrogant world. It's great to be self confident, helpful and being positive. Especially right mentors at crucial times are bonus. Ultimately it depends ... Learn or be subdued.... Yes lessons either lessen or strengthen one's personality. It's all in perspective, philosophy of life.

Jason deserves better parents than those two monsters. The real lesson here is that parents should never ever EVER take out their stresses on their children. Parents are not supposed to raise their voices and lose their tempers in front of their kids on adult issues. David's actor has intimidated me in previous videos too. I still wish the Dad and stepmom should have gotten punished for their actions.
