We experimented last year using this same method and it turned out great we did bell peppers hot peppers and tomatoes with wonderful results

I just took a few moments to read many of the comments. And most are asking the same questions. What is the growing medium and what fertilizer was used. And of course that is not the information you will get here. It doesn't matter what growing medium is used, it's all about the fertilizer. There may have been fertilizer in the dripper water or mixed into the soil before being bagged. However, I suspect it is the soil itself doing the trick. The soil in many Asian farming communities is full of animal manure mostly pig and chicken, both of which are very rich and highly productive. The soil is also very moisture retentive so dripper methods work well. It is hard to duplicate this type of method in other parts of the world unless you have soil from a pig or chicken pen to bag up. That soil will be high in nitrogen, phosphate, potassium (all of which gives you a very high reading of NPK) plus heaps of trace elements and massive soil fungal and bacterial life. Only in tropical regions will you manage to recreate that degree of soil biolife.

Hey, it might have been blossom end rot. It happens when there's a calcium deficiency. Google the pictures to see if it matches what happened to your bell peppers
