DHL workers at CVG hub officially go on strike

DHL Teamsters at the CVG Global Hub went on strike Thursday morning, choosing to picket outside the airport hub. The Teamsters voted to authorize the strike last weekend, but did not immediately go on strike as they attempted to negotiate an agreement with DHL. Read more: tinyurl.com/f8w8pefb

What is funny is that the video has FFT vans in it. Those people are unionized

Yeah and they are being paid handsomely. I’m not advocating for higher wages. Just safer conditions. It’s not my job to save people from disaster. It’s DHLs job to prevent situations from arising.

I worked on the ramp for years. During COVID, in like, March, instead of ever giving us hazard pay, my supervisor handed everyone in each of his crews a typed note, saying how thankful all the managers were that we were working through the pandemic, and as a token of their gratitude, they were giving us a bottle of hand sanitizer followed by a black and white picture of a bottle of hand sanitizer. This has been a long time coming.
