Building homes with their own hands, the Pune-based couple practice a form of architecture that uses natural materials and employs local labour and construction.
Since they started ‘Building in Mud’ few years ago, the couple has used their unconventional techniques to design and construct six homes with three more projects underway.
They were influenced by Architect Malaksingh Gill, a proponent of eco-friendly, culture-sensitive architecture, who trained with the Master Architect Laurie Baker.
