I’m going to try to change the cutout edges. Maybe 2 step cutout, save to photos, cutout again… It would be nice if they let you stretch or shrink the cutout border.

I discovered the cut out tool when I somehow pasted the cutout from one image and dropped it in another. That got me curious so I got lucky and found your great video!

Unfortunately not with the photos app. You might be able to find an app in the App Store that can do that but I haven’t really looked.

Love the video very helpful, I am trying to take pictures of older pictures to send to family but they never seem to come out clear faces always look blurry yet the photos i have are clear , what can I do for that . Thank you in advance

You are trying to take pictures of physical old pictures? If that’s what you are doing, that is tough to do. You can look in the App Store for apps that are built specifically to do that. As for doing it with the iPhone camera, it’s gonna be trial and error with distances, zooms, focuses and lighting.

I think Apple likes the “There is an app for that” line. But I always tell people who switch from Android to iPhone or the other way around to asses what they like and use most with their phones and check if the other does it.

When I use markup to add text on a photo taken with an iPhone that has GPS location data, the GPS location data remains intact. Until, I try to then share the photo. Whether I Airdrop or send via iMessage, the GPS location data is removed. Can someone help me figure out the work around for this issue?

That’s the issue, send it via airdrop or a more direct method. Email and text might lower quality.

That can’t be done with the standard editing tool. You would need to use a photo editing app or computer for that.

Most excellent video indeed - simply put for non photo guru and informative - hope to get Iphone 14-15 (selling old gear) for the camera modules and software alone makes it a winner ( reading more reviews on 14 Pro still - image 15 same and better).

This is probably the wrong video to comment on, but have you ever tried a circular polarizer filter on the iPhone? I'm used to Canon DSLR for my photography, so I'll be keen to experiment with my 14 Pro Max. :)
