Dr. Campbell I was wandering if there is a video concerning diagnosis of liver diseases through the observation of tests like alt and the ast . A video explaining how to diagnose a liver disease patient whether they got hepatitis , cirrhosis or another disease

@@Campbellteaching I have tested positive for GAD and zinc transporter antibodys. Im 23 years old, I lost 30 pounds. My blood suger was 1,100mg at diangnosis and a a1c of 13.1. Type 1 or lada? My endocrinologist is struggling to tell me.

Hoping to get further tests following having had diabetes for the last 10 years. Now 53 on max dose of metformin and glicazide and still have a high Hba1c. Hopingbto get some answers at last as certainly non typical type 2. Not overweight, balanced diet and a marathon runner.

Hi John I have a patient (I am a New Zealand podiatrist) who is a brittle type 1 diabetic but for a couple of days per year his pancreas works as normal for no more than 3 days. Autoimmune maybe? Corresponds with Type 1 just not sure what exact box he ticks. Been watching your COVID everyday too thanks so much Cheers Simon

I am mid thirties, 170lbs, 6' 1" i have some symptoms of diabetes, what is the most acurate test I can take. My symptoms are thick saliva, along with tiredness(overcome with soda), cloudy wool spots seen in my eyes from optometrist(leaky vessels). Thank you for your time.

You need a random blood glucose assessment (often called a BM test) and blood taken for HbA1C. You should also have you urine tested to see if it contains glucose of ketones. Any local nurse or doctor should be able to do these tests.

Go to Walgreens get a glucometer , eat a meal and then wash your hands and test if your high your a diabetic

When you say illness or disease ...it's all fall down to your faith about it .. seriously if you have faith you can manage or control any disease you have or illness you have, fine. Which test would my doctor carry out to determine if I was insulin deficient or Insulin resistant? Will an HbA1C test show this? Thanks.

You would need a GAD test, to see if you had gad antibodies.
