Diablo 2 Classic 1.06 Sorceress Hell part 9 ( XP )

This is the third part of my Diablo 2 Classic 1.06 journey. And it is the Hell Difficulty. I have reached Hell Act4 with Barbarian, Sorceress and Paladin. So I keep leveling up Barb, Sorc and Paladin while bringing other classes to hell Act4.
Here is part 9 of the Sorceress Hell playthrough. Xping.. some issues with lightning resists now but it's ok.
( Playing old Diablo 2 classic in 1.06 version of the game.
I have set up a multiplayer game in TCP/IP and playing in 5 player game.
I am sharing loot with all my characters so it is simulating more of a multiplayer in Battle.net rather than just a singleplayer game. )

Oh yeah and I'm still missing 1 fast cast from amulet for the maximum.

Frozen Orb was sooooo nice back then.

Yeah probably what I missed the most when LoD came. But it feels a bit more weaker in pure damage like most of the spells and you have to rely on static field a lot more. Also the explosion of shards doesn't work when you aim inside the monster. The shards just don't do anything at least thats how it seems like.

how do u play 1.06 i miss that patch sooo much

Have some explanations in other comments in other videos. But basically: 1. Install the game from old CD's with 1.00 patch. 2. Then patch 1.06 or 1.05 is ok as well (1.06 no gameplay effects just happened to have that). You can find patch installer from webarchive page at least with "d2patches" search word. 3. You will probably need a glidewrapper to get it running properly on a modern machine. Alternative which I haven't tried but someone else here on the comments does use is go to github and find Cactus mod for Diablo2. It allows version switching I think and probably has all the fixes for videosettings included.
