Your intelligence gives you resist all already, and since there are diminishing returns on the int and resist all in general the STR and Dex provide more over all toughness than int gems would.

Thanks for the guide. There are MANY znecs out there who need this sort of information. A few additional comments (sorry if they were already mentioned): 1. IMO Running with frailty instead of Skeletons is not superior for two reasons. 1) You are more restricted to where you can stand with the aura (see 2 below) and 2) You will find low density rifts where it is much more difficult to keep up LotD with only nova/spear procing Obsidian ring. Keeping up LotD is your number 1 priority. PS: Pretty sure two of the same curses from two players cancel each other out. 2. Generate globes in open areas. Tight hallways are very bad for globe generation and can often kill the Rats. 3. Do not numlock nova/spear. You will sometimes run out of essence and not be able to proc your Obsidian ring. 4. Znec running Nemesis bracers allows the Barb to use strong-arm for extra 30% damage, and the shrine will pop faster since znec is leading group. 5. Ahvarion and shrine gloves are excellent if you’re looking for more XP. It will sometimes not proc for a while, but if you’re running in an efficient group that kills a lot of whites as you move through the rift, you'll have the 25% XP boost (and the cdr and attack speed buff) a lot of the time. 6. Try and reach attack speed breakpoints for your nova/spear so you can get more Obsidian procs 7. Less blood rush = more Obsidian procs on LotD 8. Aim for 3-3.5 minute runs, on average. Lower the GR level if you’re not achieving this.

I think the variation with wielding In-geom, and cubing Ahavarion with wearing gloves of worship provides the most benefit overall. The extra exp/cdr buffs are really nice. Another thing, you said yourself you want max cdr on your items, so don't forget you really want to try to get a 100% on your Leoric as well. I think the way you explained rat runs in general at the start of the video is really well done for players who are looking for trying to learn how to do rat runs.

If you can cast skeleton, devour and death nova in the same time. However you can't cast death nova and corpse lance at the same time so therefor spamming corpse lance takes away casts from death nova in a way. That's the reason you shouldn't spam corpse lance. :)

much more optimal build is to use ahavarion+ gloves of worship. if u want to get the buffs you have to use frailty. thats why u probably didnt get the buff as often. using death nova is enough to get land of the dead back running . also go with briggs in the cube for poping strongarms and grouping the mobs. stand alone much better for overall toughness during the rift than ratma shield.

the quality from a zbarb comes from his skills, i've seen pretty better zbarbs with lower pickup radius than some with more radius that just don't help. If the barb is good pickup radius is just a complement not a requisite

Great guide, thanks! I just wanted to know if you really need max CD in every slot? I tested dropping 1% and it made no diff to my LOTD cd - 72.12% cdr total = 33 second cd of LOTD (max rolls on all but 1 item which is 1% from max + max paragon CD and born 10% set bonus) If I then use a max cdr build (72.41%) the LOTD cd is still 33 seconds...

Hi Love the video i havent played diablo since 2015 desided for some reson end of 2018 to test it again and my ww barb and sutch are sudently destroying 85 gr rift solo i couldent even do 55 gr solo befor i left, used to be big fish, im small fish now appriciate time u spend making video couse this is gona be Meta for very long time, im prob gona end up making 1, of every char but i like lazyness of ZNec good video overall ty^^

zNecro ONLY works with a Rat dps at minimum. You can two man zNecro (skills/build changes some) this guide is for the 4 man zNecro. You could take this build into two or three player groups and it would work though. zNecro does zero damage (that's what the "z" means)

Yeah I do have a question, I play rat dps, I just read without further elaboration that a znecro can give the group 100% chc. Can someone explain this please? Is all my chc useless? Would it be better to trade it for something else like attack speed or area damage?

TheMiig1513 zNecro can give crit chance because of corpse lance with the cold rune. Every corpse lance increases chance to be critically hit stacking up to 100% but it takes time to build up. No. Don’t lose your crit at all. Your mage damage is 100% based off of your sheet damage. Most trash will die long before the zNecro has time to stack crit on it up to 100%. And u need crit to kill trash plus sheet damage for your singularity mages.

So this is just as efficient as pestilence if not faster while also being a lot easier/lasier to play? Been looking for a real fast mob killer. The faster the better. Been looking for builds that speed up all around farming no matter what i was doing. So far pest is fast but i havent played manybif any ither types of builds. Someone the other day tried to explain nightmare builds and i didnt know how much faster that build wouod be... idk its all so confusing... i essentually want to go into a room one click die and move out asap in GR. I play on xbox pc and switch.. lately just switch.

Jussi the "z" in the name mean "zero damage". The rathma necs do all the damage for party. Znecro is only there to help keep them alive.

Good guide for the community. But I have a question... Shouldn’t the Znec run Frailty - Aura of Frailty? I mainly play Rathma build and I’ve never heard of or seen a Rathma build that has frailty in it. They usually have Land of the dead or Decrepify. I’m quite new to the build. Cheers.

Do ice-blinker - or how is it call in english - Stack with the Ice-Rune of Land of the dead aaaaand is it really usefull to combine it with the hypno skill of that amulette. It dont proc adds are just frozen... good adds wich are immune to freez, sure i am with you. Buuuut the immuns to freeze, mostly are immune to the croud control Effects - yellow Elites, bosses. Soooo, i prefer to use a other amulette oooor a other Rune for Land of the dead - with this massive cooldown. Its a good Video by the way. Given me a other few 4 borns-set - i need more exp. xD. Hi and thx for the vid. Can you pls elaborate on why some ppl think that the skellies is a bad idea over frailty? Most groups im in does 100s in anything from 2 to 4 mins and i use frailty and avarion+gloves for shrine bonus. Ty for any reply.

It depends on the group your with, but some groups like the necro to run Frailty with the 18% rune, and then both necros can run decripify borrowed time for more uptime on their sim CD. As I said in the video I think the frailty builds are slightly more efficient, but a LOT more work to play if you're doing rats for days. So a lot of people opt for Command Skeleton because it resets the CD on Land of the Dead really fast, and gives you almost 100% uptime. Both options work very very well. Play them both and see what you like more, that's what I did.

I did talk about using the 4pc pestilence, (11:35) I talk about the Stinky zNec (4pc pest). I ran the ahavarion and shrine gloves combo first (my very first zNec spec) and I found the ahavarion gloves didn't proc often for me. Maybe the Ahavarion is bugged? I dunno.

rakivmoo not really. It does zero dps. It’s a pestilence based build. So I suggest trying some pesti builds. I have a pest guide on my channel too. Check it out.
