I just wanted to say thx fluffy. This is by far the fastest and most powerful build for me for t13 farm (rift and bounties). I tried out SO MANY builds and was just successful at t10, with this I jumped to t13 and destroy everything. I only have 446 Paragon and ~550k sheet dps... it jut doesn't matter bec. this build is so powerful. The only changes I made for myself are: -Switched Sim. for BoneSpikes/SuddenImp. -Switched Haunted Vis. for Wis. of Kalan Sometimes I run out of essence so a generator is really helpful (also for Bounties). You don't really need Simulacrum - everything just dies so quick. You also don't really need a generator but I am messing up so a generator helps me alot (SuddenImpact also helps procc. Kysb non-stop). Thanks Fluff for this awesome buid!

Been doing this for a while. its such a good build. I personally replace the nemesis bracers with reapers wraps. and replace extended servitude with life from death. the wraps can get you 30% essence. plenty enough to cast a mage if you have some lying around the dungeon and when you are consuming corpses left and right. it can be slower but if you don't have everything ancient or best stats its still great. iv cleared a 70 in under 13 so far.

Fantastic, took a bit of getting used to, I'm also missing a few well rolled items so I'm squishy AF, but still even with a death I do GR60 in under 3 mins, around 2 mins if I don't die and have a decent layout. Very nice! I don't even have an ancient weapon or phylactery, horrible rings and amu, etc.

Curious as to why? Jesseth gives you 400% while Scythe of the Cycle only gives 300%. Swap Bone Armor for freezing skeletons and they constantly proc Krysbin's on top of that.

Hey I play HC, and I'm excited to try this out. Only suggestion I'd make for hardcore players in order to avoid being so squishy would be to swap out bone armour dislocation for bone armour thy flesh sustained to increase all life regeneration by 10%. This coupled with swapping out Bane of the Powerful for the Gizzard gem that gives huge life regeneration. This is just theorycrafting though, but I'll try it out today and I think it should be sufficient since its only T13 anyway.

After checking out this build and pestilence as well with 55% cdr for speed farm on season 14 paragon 600 it gets very exsausting to stay concetrated during gameplay.You just nervously hunt elites to prog your cdr to use Lotd and Similacrum all the time.I tried different builds just to avoid that cdr.As an end result I managed to use rathmas set with scythe of cycle on hand and lost time phylact,rorg with steuarts greeves,krisbins +julians love and amu of kalan.Cubed reilenas shadowhook,tasker and theo and a ring of your choise.Reapers wraps for bracers.For skills bone armor,command skeletons,blood rush,devour,bone spikes and skel.mages.Passives life for death,final service,wripping shythe,extended servitude. Gems zeis stone of vengeance and pet gem.The third u choose Bott for dmg or esoteric alteration. It's fast,relaxing a bit squishy but as I noticed necro is the most valnurable from all classes.Doesnt use nemesis but clears t13s 2-3mins and does bounties really fast.Cleared gr75 consistenly in 6-7 mins. Overall the build is consistent with no cdr!

Critique: I tried playing this build last night, even managed to find an ancient SotC earlier in the evening and used that. Paragon level ~500, sheet damage and toughness were 634K & 25.4M respectively with no skills activated. I started with a GR60 as I know I can complete that with my Cold Rathma's Necro in 6-8 minutes so I thought it would be a good barometer. - First off, Fluffy is right, everything just dies immediately. With 8 hyper-powered Mages out, they wipe everything on the screen within a second or two. - The problems for me began the AFTER the initial screen wipe. Example: You zone in and get off bone armor (to proc SotC), simulacrum + skeletal mages (to produce 4 hyper-buffed mages), then cast LotD + cast SM again when the bulb fills. At that moment, you have 8 super mages and a filled bulb. Your screen is filled with corpses that are gobbled up (uselessly) by Devour, and you can probably cast SM at least two more times so that you now have 10 'fresh' super powered mages out. If there was an elite pack at the doorway, you probably have about 6 seconds left to BR around in search of more mobs/elite packs or pylons. As the timer on Simulacrum expires, best case scenario, you have just made 10 more super mages, full Essence & life and now have 14 seconds before those mages expire. Even at 50% CDR, unless you proc In-geom again, you have about 5-10 seconds where you will have to produce less powerful mages that don't kill as quickly and an empty Essence bulb (you have to have out at least 4 for Rathma's set). That's under ideal conditions. And, if you're running T13, don't bother to pick up any DBs or legendary items, you don't have time to worry about those, you've got to find more mobs to kill before your glass cannon becomes a glass pea shooter. There are just far too many maps where there is too much distance between mobs, low mob density and/or not enough elite packs or pylons. Without a generator, you get stuck running away and trying to find red globes from the previous kills. Now, this is NOT a ding against Fluffy's build. It is just the Necro/mage mechanics, problematic Essence recovery (very high mob density = plenty of corpses/resources, but you can't sit there all day using them) and the general squishiness of the Necro. Granted, I'm a casual player, only paragon 500 in S11, but for me, it isn't consistent and becomes a real headache when you've been killed 8 times in a GR. I'd love it if I could use this build more easily, without worrying about the maps/RNG, because it absolutely freaking destroys, like watching an Exploding Palm monk detonate a dense pack. Or, maybe I'm doing something(s) completely wrong?

if you want to run a generator just use shadowhook in cube instead of in geom and ad bone spikes to your setup. You will suffer a lot in cleartime though.

Playing such build since I got the necro pack, only differnce is I used for long time the globe bracers with the globe/corpse passive as I noticed quickly the insane synergy while leveling my very first necro pre season. Once they fixed Rathma I changed to something similar to your build, but still using the globe variant when doing group content. Globe spamming is insane with some other classes.

Thoughts on replacing scyte of the cycle with Jesseth's set ? Slightly higher multiplier, replace bone armor with skeletons, where you can pick the freeze rune for another on-demand krisbin's. You're trading the damage bonus from the offhand for the Shields' armor, and your skeletons might distract some monsters to, to make up for the bone armor toughness loss. Still farming for my requim's, for like 250 paragon levels now...

This build actually has some decent potential for soloing GR80 (maybe 85) and under if you just swap out In-Geom for Shadowhook as well. The damage when you pop a full essence Singularity mage with Simulacrum going and Shadowhook in the cube is insane. Insta-killed a GR75 rift guardian with only 600k sheet dmg and the only ancient piece I had was my Rathma's pants.

It is maybe just me, but the problem with these "speed builds" is that you have to pay a 100% attention all the time not to loose the In-Geom buff, not to fuck up land of the dead, or simulacrum. Basically when the game starts you must run through it without stopping for just a second, because you'll loose your buffs and you are screwed. This is an issue with all In-geon speed builds, but the rathma set with the mages and the two big cooldown skills even adds to that. This build seems really fast and strong, but it can get you annoyed really fast. Lazystorm build seems more like a fun (and chilling) speed build to play. Now this is just my opinion, the build itself is still impressive. Good job on making it happen Mr. Fluffy.

I love flying through the rift, having to micro manage buffs and be on my game because that's fun to me, getting the fastest clears as possible is super fun to me. But I totally agree, it's not the most chill build in the world (unless you're playing TXIII with goldwrap). But I love that about it.

I found a flaw with this build. I was in a GR and got to a place where my only choice was to break down a door to proceed. Without a dedicated attack like corpse lance or a generator there is no way to bust down doors. My GR got stopped at like 30 secs in. Its not something that happens often, but it is kind of a glaring hole in the build. Otherwise I love it! LOL

I got stuck in the GR, googled this video, commented, read some comments, figured my stuff out, and STILL cleared the GR with 5 mins to spare. Had to make up a 5 min deficit. Truly awesome build. nice build as always. one thing: you're talking about having 60% less damage because of the missing 20 essence on your weapon. thats not entire true because its 60% additive damage. the absolut damage loss is 6.45% multiplicative

the 60% damage loss is false to begin with, 20 essence = 60% on mages sure, but since this build wants to have a perma simulacrum uptime you're taking about 60x2= 120%.

you and markus both don't get it i guess.. sure Fluffy didn't account for simulacrum (the x2) but we both mean the same, we are not talking about how much % you lose overall (counting all the essence combined) we are simply stating you simply lose 60/120% damage that the mages could have had otherwise. Its just a matter of context in this case. Multiplicative sure its ~6% but that is not what he or I are talking about.. try and keep the context in mind next time you want to correct people on math.

Idk some ppl just make it sound like a huge deal when it's really only a difference between like a 502b crit vs 471b crit or a 2.6 trillion crit vs a 2.44 trillion crit. With the way RNG is working you're only gonna notice it at the very high end, because it's a drop in the bucket. For content like T13 like he seems to focus his video around, you won't notice it at all; for GR pushing in the 100+s is when you might care though

I had a good rathma build, jesseth set with evol ring scyth of the cycle in cube Tasker and theo in cube reaper wraps compass set and the ring that boosts command skeletons damage by 30% per second it attacks a target in cube, still working on the rest of the build but I would like to see how well it works

Unless Blizz messed up on the wording, the Scythe of the Cycle is "additional damage" so it's not a 300% damage multiplier. The way that works is, mage base dmg is 400%(before multipliers), and the Scythe raises it up to 700%(400%+300%). As you can see, this is the equivalent of only a 75% dmg multiplier, not 300%. So if that is how it is actually working(like the barb's whirlwind ring - like the tool-tip says) then it's probably not even close to being the best item to use. Using Jesseth's set will lower your sheet dmg by about 30% from using a shield instead of an phylactery, but then "multiply" it by 5(400% bonus). *So 70% x 5 = 350%, with Jesseth's set. (requires "command skeletons")* *Or 100% x 1.75 = 175% with Scythe of the Cycle. (requires "bone armor")* 175 is half of 350, so you should double your dmg by switching from the Scythe+off-hand to the Jesseth's set. (This also means dropping '"bone armor" in favor of "command skeletons," which is easier to use and adds even more dmg because the skeletons do damage - but you lose toughness.) But wait. Le'ts throw in one other comparison also. Reilenna's Shadow Hook. If you're keeping Simulacrum Resivoir up and maintaining 640 Essence, then the Reilenna's gives you 320% dmg bonus. *So 100% x 420% = 420%, with Reilenna's. (Doesn't require any extra skill!!).* So, Reilenna's is the clear winner, in terms of dmg, of skill slots, and of easy of play. Since we're at it, let's consider one more thing, for fun. You're use of Simulacrum Resivoir(without Reilenna's) is giving 320 bonus Essence, and the mages gain 3% dmg per point. So first off, that's 3 x 320% = 960% bonus. But that's on top of the bonus without the simulacrum, so the math gets more complicated. It's like this(The 120% base for 40 Essence cost is already just a 3% bonus per Essence, so we can skip measuring that separately): So, the Full Essence cast of Singularity Mage *without* Simulacrum is 960% dmg. The Full Essence cast of Singularity Mage *with* Simulacrum is 1920% dmg. (2x as much.) This is really important. It means All the investment into maintaining Simulacrum, including all the gear CDR rolls, the skill slot, and the trouble of casting it, but most importantly, the In-geom in the cube, is, all together, netting you a 100% multiplier. It's *not* giving you a 960% multiplier of your non-Reservoir mages. It's doubling their dmg from 960% mages to 1920% mages. (Again, the addition vs multiplication) Now consider: The In-Geom just by itself, is costing you one of the 3 multipliers: Scythe of Cycle(175%)/Jesseth's Set(~350%)/Reilennas(~260%without using Simulacrum). All for a 200% multiplier. You'd be better off using Jesseth's(~350%. can't cube the set) and cubing Reilenna's(~260%), which, not coincidentally, is what all the top Rathma builds are doing. And not bothering with cdr - however, this would also lengthen your Land of the Dead cooldown. I know you're doing speed build not pushing build, but in this case, there's no difference. You're using mages to kill stuff, and it's just a matter of numbers. The top build is doing dmg in the same way, but at 2x the rate, so it's better for speed farming also. However, to end on a positive not, it seems you're re-invented/re-discovered the benefit of Simulacrum/Reservoir for a 100% modifier from skills. The top Rathma buils use this also. They don't use In-geom and CDR to maintain Simulacrum. Rather, they use Jesseth's and Reilenna's(already more constant dmg), and pop Simulacrum to double that value vs elite packs. This comment is kind of a jaunt through the numerical Min/Maxer landscape. *Note: after checking the leaderboard, I'm certain that Scythe of the Cycle is, indeed Additive, not multiplicative, simply by the fact that ALL of the top Rathma builds cube Reilenna's rather than SoC. (SoC would still be better than Reilenna's in cube for "Contamination mages," because the base dmg is so low(100%) that adding 300% to it, effectively multiplies it by 4.) *Note: I made a slight mistake, but I'm too lazy to re-do this comment. SoC is even worse than I thought, because the base Full cast of Singularity mage is 960%, not 400%. Adding 300% to 960% is only a 31.25% multiplier, not even 75%. Compared to ~260% for Reilenna's and ~350% for Jesseth's. *Note: I'm *assuming* singularity mage is not actually multiplying the base 400% x 960%. That would make it 3800% or 7600% with Reservoir, which.... well shit, maybe that is what they're doing. Fuck. That kind of makes sense, because they originally balanced the mage runes around the idea that you need 10 mages to get the full set bonus, which was supposed to really off-set the singularity bonus with loss of Rathma set bonus. If that's the case, that throws off all my numbers, but the conclusion remains the same. Simulacrum reservoir still just doubles your dmg... ....and SoC.... if added before the singularity multiplier: 400%(base) + 300%(SoC) = 700% x 960%(3x320 essence) = 6720% .... if added after the singularity multiplier: 400%(base) x 960%(3x320 essence) = 3800% + 300% = 4100% ... compared to Reilenna's: 400%(base) x 960%(3x320 essence) = 3800% x 260% = 9880% ... compared to Jesseth's: 400%(base) x 960%(3x320 essence) = 3800% x 350% = 13,300% So, you're still better off using Jesseth's + Reilenna's, for speed or pushing.

numbers are great and all and this is interesting but show me a jess+shadowhook build that clears 70 in 2 minutes. Numbers don't always mean speed. Yes you TECHNICALLY get more damage from jesseth but you also get to wear a phylactery with cycle plus mitigation and an aoe stun for krysbin. Try it instead of number crunching.

Fair enough. In hindsight I realize my comment may have come off as denigrating what you do, and I didn't think that through. I like what you do, inventing builds. I do it too. I'm the guy who invented the Inarius build on the PTR that people started calling Bonestorm(now nerfed.) My comment was just sort of a whimsical thought exercise of the moment, to try to figure out the dynamics behind what you were demonstrating. I *do* think the standard Rathma build can beat 70 in 2 minutes because, unlike BLance, it operates in almost the exact same way as yours, just with different buffs. But I can't prove it. I like your channel; and keep making videos of cool creative ideas. That's what D3 should be about, instead of the cookie cutter game that it usually is.

Right on, I do think maybe a jesseth/shadowhook could "speed" 75-80s in the 4-5m mark but 2m 70s without movement? probably not without a dream rift.

nice math, however for speeds 60/70 Nothing beats this build, never, ever. period. the jesseth + skeletons speed build is used by top players for higher GR's and then yes it's more powerful/tanky with skeletons shielding you. but for rifts, GR 70/70, that's the one

I made 1 change. I put Devour on 1 and am using the NUMLOCK trick to keep it on all the time.

Hello Lord Fluffy, what do you think of this alternative options : -Passive : Every time you consume a corpse, 20% chance to spawn a health globe. Instead of the passive that kills your pets. -Reaper's Wraps : every time you pick up a health globe, you regen 20-30% of TOTAL ressource. -Devoration Aura, coz Numlock no longer works (at least for me).

i would run the passive if I was wearing reapers but in an in-geom build, nemesis are a must. Devouring Aura is a waste with the numlock trick.

Silly me, I forgot to mention with this combo, no need for the Chest piece, then you can have Rathma's chest along with Tasker&Theo equipped, and Nemesis bracer in the Cube. But then I guess it's harder to itemize for, because need perfect Tasker & Theo.

Hello Fluffy! Can you please do a video or explain how to get those stats on armor and weapon, like cool down reduction and etc. Is it by farming (killing mobs and hope for the stats) by reforging the item on the cube, or by using the enchantress. Or a combination of all of the above? I play diablo on a console and whenever i try to find information its either outdated or not explained in a clear way. I have noticed that some items on the console have a different frame, are those the ancient, or primal gear? To sum it up a video explaining how to perfect gear would help a lot, with updated info and everything in one place! Thanks in advance, cheers from Brazil!

So how do your start a rift? Do you pop sim/land of the dead at start and get 10 mages then start running through until you kill an elite pack and then instead of running you are tping throught? Also it would mean a lot to me if you could actually optimize your character for this build and make an update video telling us how amazing it is or is not lol. Like you said, you are getting similar results as your corpselance build that is optimized so I really wanna check out what this build can do when it's optimized :) thanks for all that you do mate! cheers!
