I use the Eye of the Storm rune on Cyclone Strike instead of Implosion. The increased radius is pretty pointless as you nuke the entire screen anyways and cutting the resource cost down on Cyclone Strike can prevent the occasional spirit drain that occurs with Implosion. I also prefer Momentum over Harmony and it makes it easier to gear the character without trying to mess around with secondary res. Dashing Strike Radiance pairs well with Momentum (time it with your CoE) to push out a lot more damage and these two damage boosters should hypothetically top out at higher GR than Harmony and Blinding Speed as you can use range to stay alive without bothering with stacking more defensive skills and runes.

This witch doctor pants thing need to be fixed. They are BiS in many LoN builds. I don't want to run witch doctor only to get them and I don't have wd friends. Also it's imposssibru to get desired stats on it.

The way I would do it is just have someone p'lvl you a WD then spam Kadala on it for legs. Then reforge it to ancient on monk. No way I'd play WD actively just for pants. D:

Just make a seasonal WD level 1, go craft level 70 WD pants (you can do this @ lvl 1) and then use the cube to upgrade them into legendary pants. There's only 9 pairs of pants in the pool. I managed to get mine on the third upgrade.

WD pants dont need to be fixed, What they need is better pants. You either have passives that don't help or Set pants that are useless in Lon. There needs to be more options for pants with better effects. The only reason Swampland is used is because elemental damage increase is better then all the other pants except like Hexing pants of mr. yan (only useful when moving) and some class specific pants. We need pants equivalent of Cinder Coat where they can be universally used instead of class specific.

Hey guys, i just started playing this build and everything went just fine at the start but one day i started playing and i couldnt seem to point my wave of light at distant enemies, it just explodes around my character. I checked everything but everything seems to be all right. Also this isnt just on one of my monks, somehow neither of my monks can direct wave of light at enemies. Idk, maybe im missing something? Hi! great video! I had a question about the choice of Amulet. Currently I use the Sunwoko neck (it came with the best stats for the build as an ancient) but recently I picked up an ancient Halcyon's Ascent. The proc on this neck allows for some really nice survivability and synergizes with Epiphany. The stats on mine rolled badly but you can still roll with fire, crit, crit plus the proc and socket. Why is this not the preferred neck?

A side note here is that you can swap out Gogok for an Enforcer once you optimize your cooldown reduction and get used to playing without it. Since the Rabid Strike clone counts as a pet you gain even more damage from it.

Hey Rhykker, I don't really see any videos you have or that you reference about how to start and gear a second character in a season. That would be a really interesting guide I think. The strategy around not being able to get Haedrigs Gift and still getting a set or legendaries to farm rifts efficiently could he useful. I started season 17 as invoker crusader but I want to do a WoL Monk for rift farming but both sunwuko and LoN are not possible right away. What's the best way to farm these items?

Check if ur items have resistance in secondary ( for those items that dont have magic resistance in primary roll). Cast cyclon constant to make sure that buff never felt off or u die quick. Pay attention to those spear of Blood moon clan mobe type and dodge cuz it hurt as hell. Adjust ur health bar by put some paragon in to ur vitality to make sure u r not get one shot by any attack

if you have a wd you can craft the lvl 70 rare pants and reforge/upgrade them in the cube. Upgrade/reroll untill you get them.

I can't seem to find ANY information on this and it's driving me crazy, most WoL builds that I see have sweeping wind, and dashing strike included in the skills, but on console you can't do that because they are in the same skill tree.... This goes for other char classes as well. Am I missing something or can someone please explain? Are you able to just pick whatever skills you want on PC?

The description pretty much says it all - if u cast cyclone strike then the allie that pops up during epiphany will cause u to deal much more damage to mobs affected by the cyclone strike.

Buff and stack the hell out of disintegrate and black hole. TBH I've found personally the only way to effectively farm GR70+ is to stack and buff 1 maybe 2 at the most abilities. Otherwise you won't kill mobs fast enough. You become a total glass cannon....but if you try and focus on any survivability you simply won't have the DPS to solo GR70+

Gem choices are seriously wrong in this guide. You ALWAYS take zei's stone of vengeace in this build. It works best from max distance anyway, so Zei's is the best multiplier you can get. Bane of the trapped is also standard choice, then you go for Stricken, because the build is already bad at killing RG. Gogok isn't needed, you get the CDR anyway and Powerful is straight up worse than Zei's and Trapped. Wouldn't even wear it on T16. Goldgem + Goldwrap are better there.

@@keast18 You only dash in with cyclone/epiphany, dash back out to max range, then start spamming wol. If you stay in the pull you will die anyway. Wol builds arent that tanky. Its pretty similar to multishot dh when pushing. You cant really take more than 2 hits at a time.

I disagree with you completely. The damage reduction for cyclone provides a great defensive plus you can take the cold bonus to make sure nothing moves and boost your bane damage. Enforcer is working great at GR 103 for me. Cyclone should be pressed every 5 seconds and you should be moving just as often.

%dmg is really bad for this build (as pretty much any dual wielding build). Having 2 weapons the damage on is only responsible for half of your hits. So 10% dmg on one weapon is only 5% overall damage. Area damage on the other hand affects all hits, regardless which weapon triggered it.

The only way you get them pants is by playing a witch doctor. Someone in the comments said that you can make a lvl 1 seasonal witch doctor and craft lvl 70 pants with him. You put the pants in your stash and upgrade them with your monk until you get the right pair. Hope this helps

Great vids my man. Just a note on Unity Ring.. It says "Split dmg with all wearers of this item". This means as you say in the vid we split 50% dmg if we have a follower with a Unity ring aswell, but no one seems to take into consideration that the dmg the follower takes also are split with us. Even if he is immune to death he still takes the dmg from all hits that wouldnt result in a kill and it's dmg will be split with the player. On certain affixes this type of dmg are plenty and many, hits wich will devastate the player because the followers toughness is garbage even with a unity ring. I would argue there are better solutions to better your survivability, It being either a more offence minded ring or defence, both of wich will help u survive in different ways (stuff dies faster) or maybe give u more LoH or Regen or Health Etc. My own experience is that the Unity Ring often harm more than helps.

So... I play Diablo 3, been playing many of these seasons, but not all, maybe half or a bit more. Playing this season... and I really struggle to go very high GRifts, not because of lack of skill, but becuase it becomes really tough and hard work once you get up there, things take longer, the hours needed to get all the best gear for the very high GRifts and so on, despite having the time to spend, I just cant do it. Shoulders will wanna divorce me, hands too... and I'll probably die trying. So HOW THE FUNK DO YOU DO THIS!? xD How are you not dead? LoN was fun but I struggled in 55s switched to subpar stats in a UH set using multishot and cleared 75 in 3 mins. Had high hopes for LoN buff allowing for some truly unique build viability. Maybe if they were all primals with perfect rolls... currently lon just seems like a gimmick to fiddle around with ideas and not be serious

Rey Valdes I played the series since Diablo 1. Yes, we have plenty of choices nowadays beside D3, but a week or two on the new season is just like a trip to visit old friend, with a little changes. Besides D3, there are PoE, Apex, Dota, LoL to keep me busy after coming home from work and time for family.
