With a Necromancer who is almost 51, I'm a little confused about armor tiers, but I feel like now I have a more complete understanding of the game. I'll keep checking your videos, thanks :)

Let me know if you have any questions about your Necro, I’ll help if I can. The just on armor is the amount of armor you need to get 85% damage reduction increases with each level you get. I’m glad you got a lot out of the video and you are so welcome!

I’ve discovered that you can do Maidens and Helltide chests at the same time! Place one material to summon Maiden. If someone finishes the summon, you’ve got a maiden to fight. But, often, no one will immediately summon. But you can head to a chest or two until you get a notification for the maiden being summoned. I’ve killed the maiden 10+ times and opened 10+ chests in a single helltide.

I do the split most helltides, especially if there is nobody running the maiden or if it takes me a long to solo her.

Did i miss a tip to imprint the rares to legendary? I use this for damage boosts as needed if i find a legendary and use the imprint to give the build more power. Great info!!

Never bothered going rare to legendary as rare only have 2 affixes, i didnt fins great ones, alot of legendaries drop from low lvls onwards. And you can craft legendaries 20-50 i believe. Craft at alchemist

I think it depends on how much time you want to spend tweaking things early game. From what I got in this video, it's not necessary in early game to tweak too much.

​@OwnModeGaming is there a way to identify when legendary has more potential than unique for same slot? It is easy when mythic uniques are concerned but normal uniques are quite plenty in comparison to 2GA legendaries. Looking for insight 😊

Thank you! This is still very valid for season 5 I don't think much is changing on the gear side. Other than the some of the better temper manuals only being dropped by bosses and the ability for more weapon choice available for different classes. I was hoping for more temper rolls or a item reset so we can retemper if it bricks.

When Blizzard turns on the goblin events they are the fastest way to gear your up and coming alts, this after you already have a max level character, farm nightmare dungeons that spawn extra shrines which gives you the best chance for greed shrines. Opening the treasure bags they drop on a low level alt makes the items 925 but only need to be lvl 55 to use.

Best weapon temper in the early or mid game is elemental surge.

Not sure if it's a new patch, but the pit bosses dropped GA items last night for me. Seen zero in 100 pit runs before that.

It starts to happen more and more often as you push the pit and it is definitely rare early on.

i got a chest with 851 item power, but it has the 2 most important affixes to my build as greater affixes, is there a way to make this chestpiece into a 925? is it worth for me to just switch to another gear that's 925, even with worse affixes?

You can't make it a 925, sadly. I would just wouldn't worry about upgrading that piece until I have a 925 GA. Just worry about the other pieces until something worthwhile drops.

I just tempered thorns to everything i could on gear low enough with no lvl req. Made sure alot of it had life per second then do helltide maiden or w/e. Gets me 35 no probs in no time. And all alts can use it straight off as a starter set

Thanks for all the tips. Need to ask a Question and hope you can help. Say i find an amulet with the passive skill like Counter defence, but I do not have thick skin active. Would counter Defence then work or do you need it linked to the rest of your skill tree?

Thank you, I also tried googling it but no real info out there. Currently sitting with an amulet with two passives that have 3 heavy handed as well as 3 cut to the bone. My heavy handed is linked to my skill tree but not my cut to the bone and I am running a bleed build. So would like for Cut to the bone to also have an impact, otherwise amulet is kind of useless

@@Boertjie777 I hit up google and crawled reddit and I'm finding the same thing. The only thing I could think to do next is test it by putting a point in to complete the chain test it than take it out and see if anything changes. You can also test on the test dummies.

@@Boertjie777 I’ve not done any testing on it. But, if I understand your question, it definitely works. You can’t put points into Counteroffensive without putting a point into thick skin. But, if an item does it, it still functions.

The tempering has been fun we can feel powerful even in early game. However that’s exactly why I think they are going to nerf it. Currently we barely even use rare gear we go straight to legendaries we allready know they aren’t going to let that fly. I’ve been using level 100s to power level my alts I’m at level 50 in like an hour just beating capstones and going straight to WT4. With that said I’m also pretty sure they are going to do something with the difficulty or xp we can gain. I’m expecting them to make the capstones much harder that would keep people from blowing through the first 3 world tiers.

You are probably right, but if they make it take longer in wt2&3 they are going to need to give us new things to do for the season.

Can anyone, please help a huge noob here? I got back into Diablo recently, and I used to upgrade items. This is no longer possible so when I find a nice item with a good aspect that helps me I tend to keep it forever. Am I supposed to extract the aspect by salvaging it now and put it in another gear with better stats + then always temper for extra stats? The new system is a bit confusing. Thanks!

You break it down and the aspect goes into your codex of power and then you can put it on any piece that can have that aspect as many times as you want, as long as you have the mats. If you find more powerful version of aspect on a legendary you just break that piece down and your codex will be upgraded to that version. No more saving pieces just because it has an aspect you might use later. Tempering is good.

you know at PATH OF EXILE when we crafting our gears we made that thing to happen at DIABLO IV we wait that thing to happen waiting for the lucky drop but that will never happen and crafting Tempers only have 5/5 if that tempers mess up that item gona be rubbish

I hope they either increase the number of rolls, get the option to keep the current if we don't like the roll, or some option that just completely resets the item.

I'll usually push one character deep into endgame, but then I enjoy playing around with the other classes.
