Absolutely, love this build so far! I made a slight adjustment. I swapped out mimic, since I did not have the aspect. I went with concealment for survivability. A random piece of gear I had on, had the infiltrators aspect on it. The rest is history, now for big packs I go stealth and drop like 4 poison traps then open with twisted blade, a massive explosion of poison ensues and everything melts 😂u earned my sub!

Alternatively, you could use aspect of Quickening Fog to give both your dashes smoke grenades... which means you can now use both dashes for taunting clones (with the brutal heart) as well as your trap. Can swap for Wind Striker or Mangler

Thanks I might give this a try, I am testing out a new variation now with another aspect combined with the wrathful heart and its doing some pretty insane damage and has about 700-800 Life per second heals which is pretty great considering how tanky this build is already. But yea I had not thought about that synergy,, I will try it out soon. Thanks for sharing, I always love hearing everyone's ideas.

I've been messing with that heart of the vile apothecary for the past couple days. I was swapping between apothecary and the Barber and was surprised no one had mentioned how good it was until now lol. I use TB Poison imbuement and poison trap with apothecary and revenge heart. At lvl 60 I was doing world tier 4, tier 21 nightmare dungeons. I've notice when I was using the barber heart for the Season 60 eco and the capstone dungeon that it was lacking on the final boss. Apothecary is S tier in my opinion add unstable imbuements aspect so every time you use poison imbuement it covers enemy's around you. The single target damage is also way higher. Its very good all around.

Its funny you said that, I just tried the unstable imbuements was so impressed with how often you explode everything, and get ton of freeze up. I was actually considering trying this out with death tap and the 15% chance to proc all imbuements, it should lay down a ton of procs with so many hits, but I dunno, maybe on another build. I did try aspect of stolen vigor which gives you a constant 600 life regen basically and its very good with this build, was easily able to face tank so many things above my levels without ever having to heal.

@@kamilnikodem5669 I just kept running the malignant dungeons until I saw a white wrathful enemy. If you aren't above lvl 65 I would recommend doing the grind for your hearts on world tier 3. Some hearts you get in world tier 4 are locked until you get to lvl 65. Once you can do tier 4 I would recommend it the hearts are way more powerful.

I have been using it with a Rain of Arrows + Rapid Fire build and is has been great. The added benefit to using Vile Apothecary is that everyone is already using Barber, so all my damage with Vile Apothecary actually makes their Barber procs that much more insane (Barber absorbs everyones damage and pops it, not just your own).

Yea its viable, It might not be the fastest, but I think it would be great at pushing high content because of just how insanely tanky it is. I can pretty much face tank anything 20 levels above me without dyeing. But that is more of how I geared my character and some of it is the build choices. I am 72 and I've done up to NM 31 fairly easily. But running 31 at 72 is just not optimal for XP gains, I plan on making push soon , but busy with tons of work since the weekend. Just want to say I used this build at like 35 to clear capstone dungeon to unlock world tier 3 and again at like 52 to unlock WT4, so it really did good job on single targets. At 70 I was easily able to face tank Level 80 Varshan to farm some 800 item level weapons.

Also not loving the xp diminishing returns so I completely understand what you're saying about no point running higher. I just swapped from poison to shadow but I'm 100% going back tonight based off your vid. it looks fun and I'm intrigued with your build. very creative. Also there was some jerk on here talking about "another boring TB build". they obviously didn't watch the video because this is far from that. yes, TB compliments but it's really about pool, poison and some very neat setup with gear and hearts. it's ALSO not using barber and literally EVERY build on youtube is running that. Poison can be bit slower at times only because you have to wait for it to tick, but this build will get quite a bit of cold imbuement and shadow imbuement procs as well. Overall it feels good and is super tanky. Sure I added a starter board for now, and when I post my next build update for a finalized version I will have a more complete paragon board. I recommend skipping the glyph pathing on board 2 and go for Exploit on board 3 to get it active. After you get Exploit on board 3 I would recommend just pathing to the Glyph node on your 2nd board to grab Efficacy for now.

@@NLParagonGaming I'm using poison arrow build combined with dash and penetrating shot at the moment, its working ok for WT 2 and 3 but i think when i get to 4 i might have to refine the build to get some more crit and vul damage in there, maybe some CC aswell but with trap its pretty good so far..

@@Rickrill Nice, yea you want to always aim for as many separate sources of damage multipliers as you can. Vulnerable and Critical strike damage are in their own buckets and therefore end up being extremely potent multipliers for damage.

i have tried 2 twisting blade builds already, and rolled to a penetrating shot build but i saw this and its refreshing to see a different build than the same ones that have been out/not changed from the original launch version! Question, how about uniques? grasp of shadow (shadow clone summon), asheara's, cowl, penetant - would those be viable here? if we're relying on shadow clone stuff, could grasp of shadow be a good add? cheers!

Hey, hope you enjoy build. Definitely can use some uniques for sure, and I encourage you to test some out. I try to make "Ethical" builds that anyone can make easily, without relying on some harder to find aspects and uniques. But that being said I personally think the gloves are okay just because of vulnerable , but the shadow on them is not all that great, not like you think it would be. The shadow will proc off attacks, and geal damage but that shadow will not trigger the imitated imbuement which is really why we take the aspect and shadow clone. It is still an option though. I think Asheara's dagger is definitely an option just because we have so much energey regen, it really can generate some good dps, but you will find yourself a little aspect starved on this build. I just finished editing an updated end game version of this build and will be uploading it shortly. It uses all three imbuements to great effect with even more dps and clear speed, but is not as beginner friendly as this version, but still easily doable. Let me know if you find any good synergies, love to hear what people are up to. Good luck

Great build, honestly and this is not just you, but slow down. Maybe im handicapped but Diablo has so many mechanics it's hard to keep up with. Find that people making these videos all speed run them. You're probably thinking, not sure how I can slow down, just things like the speed of how things synergize. Honestly I was the same way, but once you get used to it, it's not so bad. With enough energy regen you get to the point where it is basically almost always circling around you hitting like 3/4 times a second so it just does so much work and to whole groups at once. Final end game version I am hoping will be out tomorrow, it will have more dps and be little more tanky as well.

I added paragon board to the written guide a few days ago, its very basic atm, since I figured most people at this stage will not have a ton of paragon points so I tried to utilize this by grabbing some extra legendary nodes early. I have tweaked the build since this video and I am doing way way more DPS now, and found a insane interaction between this heart and another aspect. For Imitated Imbuement, isn't placing it on a weapon while you are leveling up kind of a waste? I'm assuming you'll find better weapons almost every level but there's no guarantee you'll find another Imitated Imbuement aspect?

Yea you are correct . I only used basically 2-3 aspects from 1-50, the main one being twisting blades on my xbow from Jalaal's Vigil. Then I found few defensive aspects I used that were random. 1-50 with rogue is pretty much really easy with just that one aspect, at 45 when you start getting sacred gear, then its worth to start using more aspects as the gear will last you much longer. I just speed leveled from 1-50 in little under 3 hours at season start so I really did not have a ton of upgrades until 50 myself.

Do you mean the Tier 3 version? You can do Nightmare Tier 3 at about level 60 I would think, if not lower, depending on your gear. Tier 4 I started doing him easily at 70 myself, Tier 4 on Torment he drops 800 items not on Tier 3.

I checked stats . I changed stuff up. Some aspects. I don't have the momentum one or know If it's in a dungeon. So I'm using disobedience. I got shdlafow unique gloves so running defense on helm. Added your recommended aspec of might. I gotba barrior aspec on chest. Let's see if I can get him. My attack power is 1662. 4300 armor, 2335 life now.

@@vaughny7258 Also make sure you run a devious heart that reduces energy drain effects by 90% for this fight if you can. He drains 100% of your energy when he hits you. Make sure your chest and gloves have proper defensive stats on them, I think I showed my chest/legs in this video as good examples of what your looking for. You should not be taking any damage. I was able to face tank the level 80 uber without even using health potion at level 70. But reach out if you still struggle, I'd be more then happy to take a look at your gear and offer some suggestions maybe when I have time.

How dodyou get your twisted blades % so high on aspect?

So aspect damage % is based on the type of item you put it on. Offensive aspects can go on Weapons , gloves, rings and amulet. Amulet gives 150% power to the aspect, rings and 1 handed weapons and offhand items like focus etc.. give normal 100% damage. But any 2h weapons will give 200% value, so it doubles the base damage of the aspect. Since I put it on a 2h Crossbow, it doubles the damage of it. So you want to put your main aspect with a high roll on your 2H if possible. Hope this helps.

@@vaughny7258 I'll try to answer all you questions. First how to get materials. Early on if you are under level say 45 you should pretty much salvage everything, and only sale items when you need to for gold. Here is why. Because you will need the material to craft and item level does not matter so when you salvage items they break down into different parts, you will need these to craft. If you sell low level items you might get 10-80 thousand gold for a whole bag. But by level 50 you can sale a bag for 500k gold, so its just smart to start selling stuff later and salvage earlier. Pick up everything for parts, blue items, yellow and legendaries. Salvage anything you don't need or cant use. Eventually you will need to do Helltides for crafting materials for end game crafting.. As far as 2handers I think the weapons mostly will say, but Ranged weapons might don't say but Range weapons for Rogue count as 200% increase on aspect. For other Classes, its just 2H weapons, swords, maces, scythes, staff's etc.. Hope this helps.

Sorry that got cut off during editing, I was trying to say to take Puncture for single target vulnerable but later you can get the Exploit Glyph (not glitch) to keep vulnerable on larger packs which will really make clearing NM dungeons faster. But for whatever reason looks like I cut some of that off during edit, good catch though :)

Im running the same build but i dont use the ultimate and im using dark shroud instead, but my damage numbers are way way higher, i was lvl 58 doing tier 20 Nightmares, went to tier IV world at 59 and im quite tanky, only lvled basic level 1 for all those skills and only twisting and poison imbuilment at max lvl, focused on poison dmg bonus and im still laking some good gear, aspects and hearts, the thing is i got frostburn gloves and um using the aspect that makes poison chills and give bonus dmg to frozen, also max lvl on that chill freeze passive, maybe thats whats boosting me soo much, im at 59 hitting 100k+ crit hits all time against lvl 75 monsters, cant wait to get that crit dmg store heart or the all imbuilments at once to see the damage

I have not tried the barber yet, but I would guess it has more. From what I have been seeing, it really appears to double dip damage, like shred storm claw was doing before they fixed it. Scaling modifiers probably double dip, I definitely plan on. Trying it after I finish this build.

After testing the Barber out, I don't like it at all, it seems to be much less DPS. It looks like the barber stores the damage, but then you don't get any status effects either, so you lose out on vulnerable and imbuements and everything with it. This is fine for classes that can get imbuements up different ways, but for me I noticed a immediate drop off in damage, and it was significantly less. Maybe with a different build, but I am fixing to try and finish the final version of this tonight, I got it tuned good now, I am just basically one shotting everything in NM dungeons, and moving pretty quickly. This build is tanky enough to play hardcore easily too.

Shadow would probably clear faster, I am testing this build out with 1 point in all 3 passive for shadow, cold and poison, and then as many ranks as I could get for poison and with 15% chance on all arracks to apply all 3 imbuements from the heart it has really been doing well.

@@vaughny7258 So what I am doing is running like 1/1/1 shadow and cold, and like 8/1/1 in poison with +4 poison on helm. When they heart procs ,which is quite often it now applies the cold and shadow with the buffs. I also combined this with Aspect of Unstable Imbuements, which causes an explosion based on the imbuement you cast. And it causes 3 explosions per proc, one for shadow/cold/poison. So we get triple the use out of this aspect. This really helps to clear faster, and appears to actually be a little more DPS, because of the Mixed Shadow imbuement upgrade, when it procs it makes all of your "Non-Physical damage" do 12% More multiplicative damage. Which is a ton of extra damage, and this also scales the Aspect of Unstable Imbuements. I want to wait a few more days testing few things out then I will post a more min/max version with updated Paragon board for more "end game" levels that you can push towards with more points. U didn’t mention you having three points in symphony strikes. I personally think that passive is so dead. I’m level 61 and I barely see any healing, so I literally remove those three points. Unless I’m missing something.

I tried it with and without it, and with so much crit % I was getting a ton of healing with it myself, to the point that I barely ever use flasks at all. I have some lucky hit on gear as well too. But yea it still feels fine to me, I built my character super tanky, you definitely don't have to do that. I was able to do like WT4 capstone at 52 and was able to basically face tank Elias. But for just speed farming NM dungeons, you can easily run something else.

I leveled every character in Eternal realm before season to end game, so I have quite bit of practice doing the fights at low level, It can be challenging but you can def do it , I'd say 58 is pretty doable on any class, 52 if you have good gear and understand the mechanics. Mostly I feel people don't gear their chest/legs correctly with enough defensive layers. I think at 60 I was able to face tank Elias without taking too much damage, but the poison this build did was just so much it made the fight much easier.

@@NLParagonGaming to be honest, I leveled a rogue to 81 preseason and got up to nightmare 36 pre-patch. But now I am still a rouge. I’m using twisting blades poison build, but it’s a death trap version so I’m using victimize keep passive. So my trap skills even my ultimate comes back fairly quick maybe 1012 seconds each time for the ultimate. But yeah, I’m barely scraping by doing nightmare 15’s, which is level 68 as a 61 myself but when I look at my gear, I see that I’m focusing mainly on damage so my chest and rings are all about extra damage for my poison and physical as well as traps damage. And all my items have close and vulnerable damage, which is pretty good in my opinion (at least four out of the five states are in favor of my damage) but I have absolutely no defensive stats on my gear . But I am doing pretty solid damage when I did the capstone dungeon where everyone was 70 mowing mobs, even though they can pretty much take me down in seconds I just keep spamming healing . Anyways, sorry for the long post. But yeah, the elite guys in the level 70 Kapstone I don’t know how but there’s literally one shouting me and it’s so annoying.

I put Paragon board in written build guide , its just a starter board, I figure for most people right now starting season they might not have a ton of points so its better to focus on legendary and rare nodes early with exploit and few other key glyphs then later respec into a more end game paragon board. I will post a final version of build later when I get it refined. I am working on it, but for now check the written build guide for paragon board.

EDIT: I fine tuned the build and released an updated version for people who are looking to min/max with a level 100 Paragon board in the build guide and some changes to the passive tree and aspects to increase DPS and clear speed. UPDATED Guide: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2qromtoYpdll68 Also guys don't forget to upgrade the Aspect of Stolen Vigor because it does not scale with your level, so keep an eye out for those upgraded drops with higher heals per second. At around 75 you should be able to get around 1050 life per second from this. And it increases with your level, but you have to find more aspects. The new Aspect of Imitated Imbuement is available for free in the season pass as well as a regular world drop on legendary gear. Since we don't have a lot of unstoppable I wanted to add that we want to use Topaz jewels in our gear here for the massive amount of damage reduction while Crowd controlled. Not only does this help to keep us alive when we get stunned or frozen, but it also kicks in whenever we get Slowed, Immobilized, Knocked down, Taunted, Feared, Tethered, Dazed, and Chilled. So as you can see it will really put in some serious work mitigating a ton of damage. I plan on releasing an updated Min/Max version as I get further into End Game but I just wanted to go ahead and get this out to share it. Please let me know if you guys have any questions. I want to try and finish this build and get the updated final version out, I have already made some tweaks that I think are much better dps and clearing. Then I will try to update the paragon board for more end game points which might require a resepc., Luckily I think they are lowering respec costs in patch this week :)

I mean you can do poison/shadow clone with just the twisting blades aspect early as you can unlock it. It destroys the campaign without anything but the main aspect from Jalaals Vigil. After that you want to just start adding more to it, several aspects can be added from the season pass codex for free. I ran it straight from like level 20 when I unlocked my ultimate basically, just gradually made it stronger. At 70 I was easily able to destroy Uber Varshan and farmed item level 800 weapons, which helped a bunch.

At level 36 Rogue. I have been going to these Dungeons that are suppose to have "all the goodies" well, by the time I do the dungeon. I get nothing. I am Legendary items poor Rogue. Would like to get at least 1 per dungeon. But, I guess I didn't get the memo. With out those Legendary items applying Aspects doesn't work. Game sucks for me. Great video.....

you only need yellow items and not legendaries(orange) to apply your aspects to. Yellow items should drop frequently starting from an early level.

You get more legendaries as you get higher level. Its normal not to get but 1-2 legendaries before level 50. But you can still have tons of legendaries by crafting them yourself. Start picking up every item and salvage the item for materials. Then you unlock "aspects" that you need like The Twisted blade aspect from the Dungeon "Jalal's Vigil" and craft it onto a decent xbow with some good stats and it will become legendary. Once you get that once aspect running, you literally don't need anything else to get to 50 easily. With just little patience salvaging items, then you can get yourself quite a few legendaries at your level. Hope this helps.

@@billywilds1779 So yea you don't need helltide items to craft until you get to a certain level of gear. Early on you don't need it, but later you will start needing the helltide items. But by then you want to be doing helltides, they will drop me usually a bag full of legendary items, not to mention a ton of crafting materials by farming Mystery chest, you can open 2 mystery chest every helltide. Its not hard, and you get a ton of value from this. And helltides is something you can do once every couple days and have plenty of items to craft legendaries. Hope this helps.

I will try to help, attack power is first off not important. You want to understand how to stack offensive damage mutlipliers, attack power does not reflect this. You want as many different damage buckets as you can get to multiply the damage you deal. For defensive stats you have what we call EHP, effective health pool. This is a combination of not just health, but everything combined. And the best thing you can do for defense is grab additive sources of damage reduction. Like Damage reduced from close, damage reduced from distant, damage reduced while injured, damage reduced while crowd control from topaz etc... What class are you running? Give me your gamertag if you want I have time I can take a look at your gear, maybe give you some suggestions.

Attack power is not really important, if really does not represent how much damage you do very well. Life and armor are good, but not as good as other dance reduction sources that are additive. What level are you? Are you struggling with certain content? I'd be more than happy to take a look at your character if you want.

I am currently working on a updated Rogue build using the Barber since they fixed it and it is now working with status effects, Been blowing through tier 100 NM dungeons and killing Uber Lillith in under a Minute. Rogue has been all around a insane class this season with the hearts. These will be my last 2 build guides for rogue this season, then maybe work on some other classes, or maybe POE for bit.

I just play what's fun , I know its pretty meta but I really enjoy the playstyle, I really have not played rogue much, I leveled every class in eternal to end game but this season ima level rogue to 100 first, I will eventually try some other builds for sure.

@@NLParagonGaming Yeh, my comment isn't necessarily at you, just all players in general. Actually wish they'd nerf TB a bit to make Rogue more diverse. Of the 5 Rogue builds I've played in pre season, TB was by far my least favorite. We gotta play meta, even if it's meta by 1% tho.

@@NLParagonGaming Pre-season I tried all of his builds, the TB, the RF, then the Barrage/Death Trap and finally the RF with Flurry. Did a few different poison builds too. Problem now is the Barber doesn't work well with Barrage, Venemous Poison is still bugged so you have to know you're using basically an exploited build if you use that. Leaves you with TB since it's just too strong or an exploit build. Thus everyone is playing TB, unfortunately. (Barrage/DT was my personal favorite which also had the extra bug of not giving you the glyph XP at end of NM dungeons)
