It's important to note that its explosion does shadow damage as well, so that can be a really good synergy. Also, THE PRIORITY AFFIX SYSTEM HAS BEEN CHANGED/REMOVED!! For all intents and purposes, for now you should treat all stat re-rolls as totally random. I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to the system at the moment. ☆☆ In my theory-crafting/play-testing process I tested so many combinations of aspects, and at one point I had a few more that relied on Lucky Hit Chance than I ended up with. Taking another look at this, I would probably consider replacing one or two Lucky Hit Chance stats with + Max Life instead.

why do you still have lucky hit chance on the skill tree, when you don't use it for anything? i would change it so that those points go to haste on the same cluster. it's just movement speed at high energy and attack speed at low energy. so you can spam puncture to regen energy.

Brill guide, Veritas. I love all your vids (subscribed) and this is my first comment - it took me long enough! I have a question. I've been loving Barber and I play something quite similar to yours. As mentioned in your video, i (think) I'm having a problem with keeping the enemies Vulnerable due to puncture being a bit of an issue as you said. I do use shadow imbuement, mostly for the vulnerable after they exolode. I've invested a lot into vulnerable damage and just wondering if there's a way to keep up vulnerable long enough outside of my shadow explosion... Maybe some Aspect or something? In fights that are a little longer than the trash mobs (Elites, bosses, etc) I find that they are not vulnerable for most of the fight and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of damage. I know I can sometimes proc vulnerable via puncture but because it's only 2 seconds, it isn't consistent or long enough. Sorry for the huge post. I just know if any one can have a solution to this, it's you 😊❤️

Update: I just swapped out shroud for Concealment. And "omg" what a difference it makes! Thanks so much Veritas! I've got shadow imbuement for trash mobs and then concealment for the amazing 6 second vuln uptime on beefy enemies and they now die twice as fast! 😊

i really like your build and set it up today, however shadow step doesn't function at all often let alone properly on a play station. i've played diablo since the first - albeit on my pops lap but still lol. and always on a computer so it was already quite frustrating playing it on ps then running into this really irked me. anywho, if you have the time what would you recommend to replace shadow step as it is null and void for a playstation. and tysm, genuinely best build video out there-i don't sub much but i subbed out of respect. ty

This was one of the most well done build guides. You covered leveling which most don't, acknowledge that finding gear with desired stats is almost impossible so how to do the alternatives, gave tips on how to play the build, and covered everything in clear detail. So many just show gear that nobody can get and don't explain how to level to the point you can get the 'required' gear that they are useless. This was exceptional.

100% the best guide I've seen. I've probably spent as much time trying to find a guide that I understand as I have playing the game. Trying to figure out the skills, proper gear with stat priority, and the paragon board, as well as skill rotation, was about to give me a brain aneurysm. Your guide is easy to follow and easy to understand, and I can't tell you enough how much a newbie like me appreciates that. Sometimes, when people get very good at something, it becomes very easy to see things as obvious, forgetting that this can be very confusing to someone like me who has very little experience. You are clearly very knowlegable and have a great talent for making this information easy to understand without going into overly complicated, long detailed reasons or dumbing it down. The bite sized chunks explained each section well before moving onto the next, which also made the video interesting. Great build guide. Very comprehensive. I just switched to a poison trap twisting blades build, basically out of necessity to survive wt4 and its been good so far but this build better suits my play style and my paragon board is pretty much already set up this way (ran out of money on this build so haven't changed it yet). Im definitely gonna give this a go when I get all the gear I need. Im one of those that has issues finding the penitent greaves haha My eternal rogue didn't find any til about lvl 83 or so and I just hit 67 on seasonal so we will see how it goes. Thanks!

Wow!!! This is a game changer for me. I was running a double trap build (poison and death) and found combat to be a strange combination of a dance and a chore. The poison would, on a long enough timeline kill everything but I was playing the evasion game until that took place. As I leveled that became less and less viable. I blew the last of my gold trying out other suggested online builds but it still felt the same. In your video, you explain WHY it works. That is infinitely more helpful and even though I'm still a lowly level 44 the improvements I'm seeing are massive, even with sub optimal gear. This build is truly FUN. We have a patch looming in a few days but nothing on the patch notes makes me think that this build is doomed, on the contrary, I think it might even better. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video and share this. Cheers!

I've been playing TB for a month now and gotten a good handle on it. But so many YT don't share how to play only the build. I struggled so much initially that I gave up a few times to run rapid fire and flurry. Eventually came back and forced myself to learn it. So really appreciate your tips and tricks at the end for many beginners. It is one of the hardest to pickup but extremely fun and powerful once you learn how to play.

I'm doing this right now using penitent greaves with cold and shadow in bunits. Packs of mobs just start exploding all over the screen. It's pretty damn fun.
